Yeah, I like the cover too. This issue looks like it'll be a fun read. Looking forward to it. :)
Also Gambit location in that cover is completely bizzare. It's like he was just inserted there because he's married to Rogue and is being completely ignored.
In my point of view, Gambit is talking to someone else and what we see is part of a bigger scene.
This sounds awesome
Finally after a decade of being crapped on from marvel and the MCU the X-Men are back.
Who else is going to read one story a day until Christmas Day Like an advent calendar.
Cute idea, but odds are we'll be looking a bloated price tag and some fluff regarding characters who already get most of the spotlight. I'll wait to see if any of my faves get page time before I buy.

*raises hand*
However I’ll probably read the R&G one right away and then read one daily. ;)
They are each just doing one page, except for someone doing six (please be Claremont). Honestly not a bad tactic, we'll get a lot of different chacters featured, I would imagine.
Hoping for the same. Not really feeling all of these 1 page stories and don’t much care for most of the writers listed save for Sims & Claremont.
We have not had anything like that in a long time.
Lately the X-mens have jumped from a catastrophic event to another that we even forgets those moments.

They have 24 characters to spotlight, so I'm sure there will at least be a couple surprises. Unless they do a bunch of doubles which would be on brand for the X-Office.
The last holiday x-men special i read was when they taught X-23 and Hellion the meaning of Christmas....
Let’s see Gabby chasing them around with a sprig of mistletoe this time around.
LMAO what is Charlamegne doing in a X-book? I'm crying.
Seriously. Isn't he the sort of person who is usually the bad guy in the X-books?
They need to drop him, and replace him with, say, Christina Strain. Why is Strain not writing anything for this?
He really is.
Strain would be great! I keep hoping she gets announced for another X Book.
Love holiday specials, especially self contained ones. Shut up and take my money .

Fake smiles aside I enjoy the cover very much.

This right here!
I asked KT if she could confirm she is writing the G&R short and she did. None of us really doubted it but assuming can sometimes blow up in your face.
I hope Gambit makes his famous oyster loaf!

Sounds disgusting. Can you elaborate?
