So Hope made use of Madrox's powers, that makes sense. But why wouldn't she also simultaneously borrow the powers of the others?

Glad to see my boy Berto. Though he didn't power down all issue and he ditched the Citizen X title somewhere along the way. I'm pissed that Rosenberg is likely gonna kill him off next issue.

So this issue and #3 is the last we're gonna be seeing of Chamber & Wolfsbane unless if they're brought back somehow by the time we hit HoX/P10. Not the best panels but at least Rahne managed to hold her own against Creed for a bit.

The return of Hrimhari and Tier makes sense I suppose, and I guess is meant to give more reasoning for Rahne's departure from the team as having them back must've been traumatic for her.

Magik is imprisoned. Because of course she is. Gods forbid Rosenberg blessed us with content centred on characters we cared about (aka not Hope, Madrox or Alex)
Sniper Cyke was real nice. I like that the New Mutants were the focus of this, mostly.
Rosenberg still has a complete disdain for continuity, though, so I take back all my comments about Sunspot' death being a way to tie the arc Ewing started.
Overall, a 7.5/10. Perez art is still a great fit for this story.

It keeps a very decent story, with a lot of action and a great art.
New Mutants are the main characters.
And we have details of what happened between Uncanny #15 and #16.

Magik being captured by Rapetooth is bad, but not nearly as bad as being captured by generic mobsters (and being incapacitated with generic cuffs GOD Guggenheim scarred me for life)
-
Sabretooth was cringed in this. Sucks that the development he got in UXM has been thrown out the window

Rosenberg at least made it make sense by saying he had magical help via Enchantress gear. Guggs literally had her taken out by random thugs

Wolverine was first. So he gets the anti-hero perks.
Least he was kinda competent in this. If he has to be evil & bland, make him dangerous.

This is actually what surprised me the most. Hopeful Rosenberg can redeem himself at least a little with Wolsbane.

People stil talk about 'the bus of Kyle & Yost , but Hickman is worse. His list in this short time; Loa, Blindfold, Multiple Man dupe, Joseph, Strongguy, Wolfsbane, Tier, Chamber, most lonely Velocidad and next issue Sunspot probably.
Any bets on who is next? Karma, Hope or Banshee perhaps?

You’re getting Jonathan Hickman & Matthew Rosenberg mixed up. Hickman hasn’t started writing X-Men yet. Our current writer on Uncanny is Rosenberg, and he’s the one who’s been killing off Mutants each issue. You missed Joseph and the Marauders off the list too

Yeah, but she has her Limbo Discs and Soul Sword......and she’s not afraid to kill/ maim her opponents

Banshee.....he’s almost dead already (unless Jamie summons Morrigan/ Theresa to fully resurrect her father......)

Funny that Alex felt some type of way when the rescued dude called them muties... guess Havok is still butthurt about the 'M-Word'
