Some of the most breathtaking, creative cartooning I've ever seen was James Harvey's "Midnight in the Phantom Zone" backup feature from Bug: The Adventures of Forager, the DC/Young Animal series by the Allreds.
Someone (NOT ME!) scanned the whole thing, and even though it's a pretty huge departure from the Golden Age Midnight, it's really something to see.

[COLOR="#000080"]Midnight [/COLOR]is a great name...too good to waste.
and [COLOR="#000080"]The Spirit[/COLOR] is a great character that has endured through the decades.
When Roy Thomas did Midnight's "Secret Origin" for [B][I]Secret Origins #28[/I][/B] (July 1988), it had some additions / enhancements to that original 5-page story.
