I've just finished reading issues 1 and 2 of the new mini series. The ongoing Barton-bashing is hysterical. I wish we got more of that type of relationship b/w Bucky, Sam and Clint in the movies, but definitely looking forward to the back and forth between Buck and Sam in the show.
Yeah bro, been reading it. Caught up with issues 3 and 4 last night. Reading it piecemeal was confusing, but reading it together definitely helped put the pieces together. I concur, I really like the back and forth between Buck and Sam in here. There's this really subdued sense of humor in the midst of warring Hydra factions. Kinda millennial in a way. In terms of Buck, I like how he's portrayed as being a bit more vicious than Sam. As for this Natural kid, yeah, I don't like him, but in a good way. I appreciate his skill, but his one-upping of Sam and Buck is grating. They're trying their best to steer him in the right direction, but he's a little psycho in training. Hope they bring him down a peg or two in the last issue.
Y'know, something tells me that the Natural:

is going to cross paths with RJ Boyle, the Winter Soldier in training:

A new angsty, psycho, teen Captain America/Bucky duo. I'd read that actually.

I've been enjoying Wilson and Barnes as well as Barton and Barnes. Which means we need a trio act

Talking a little about this in the Hawkeye thread with Bucky Clint and Wade as a trio due to Wade and Clint's past interactions. But I would absolutely read a Bucky, Sam, Clint book as well. I like how these mini series have been going. We had Winter Soldier, Tales of Suspense, Hawkeye Freefall, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Black Widow. And they're all sort of lining up together. You can even throw Rosenberg's Punisher volume in after Tales of Suspense for part of the story as well. It's all been very enjoyable.

I kind of feel like the trio would end up one-sided against Clint somehow :p.

lol, I think there are scenarios where any 2 of them would gang up on the 3rd

Most definitely. They'd probably be ribbing each other half the time.

Bucky's the man! Enjoying the mini series and hope we get more Winter Soldier moving forward, as I'm sure the mini was supposed to coincide with the show, if not for all the delays.

I'm glad the writers are continuing to allow Alpine to exist as Bucky's pet. It's very sweet.
