Rogue: *punches •—[A]—•*
•—[A]—•: yeah....harder
Rogue: what?
•—[A]—•: what?
"Complete the ritual. Yesss."
Of the Quiet Council, so far Charles and •-[A]-• have died. Who is next?

I also like that Rictor is basically a full fledged X-Man and is more competent than Gambit.
-
ALSO I love that Rictor and Gambit listen to The Smiths

Honestly, the team consistently dragging Gambit has been the highlight of the series.

Apocalypse should change his name to Daddy X. He's slowly becoming responsible for everyone's evolution in character.

I believe that is Big Daddy's big plan.

My one and only, very tiny nit...I wish Rogue was back to the Green and Black colour scheme (of her 80-90's days). But that Jacket makes up for and detracts from the garishness of the bright yellow and green combo.
and yes...
Xaddy •—[A]—• is my EVERYTHING!!!

Again, I feel like this book would gel a lot more if the art were more surreal and painterly. To would be great on a young X-men team, but his style and the colouring don't scream magic otherworlds to me.

I don't know how I feel about this Issue. I want to like this series, but I just feel......bored.
Apocalypse is entertaining, but I don't know.
I wanted to like this series, mainly for the magic exploration but I'm dropping it. It's very mediocre.
I feel you.

That made me smile too.
Loved Rachel turning up, I’d be totally up for her being added to the cast.

Oh, I’m sure Mystique will take you up on that... in about a month.
Rogue’s totally pregnant.
If she is, I wonder if what just happened would explain their skin colour? Assuming that it's actually Maxime and Manon she's expecting (remember, the teenage versions of them are actually from the future).

I wish I got to these threads earlier, but as it stands I'm just gonna repeat what's already been said. So I'll just add this, mutants have no business in Otherworld, mutant magic is a joke and has no real advantage over regular magic and only thing that can save this title would be a war between Okkara and Otherworld.
-
Yes, Rogue was pretty awesome and sassy in this issue. But why does she fall so easily into •—[A]—•'s plans?
Rogue - touch this gate. Rogue - kill and fully absorb me.
UGH

I think this series needs an overhaul.
The exploration of mutant magic is not working.
The art is nice. But it suits more of a young X-Men book.
Betsy should give the Captain Britain title back to her brother. I don't think it really elevated her as much as editorial and the writer said it would.
She hasnt interacted with the Quiet Council or X-Men leadership regarding her new position.
Rogue and Gambit belong in another title.
Jubilee should be with the rest of the GenX/NM squads.
Bring back Nightcrawler, Meggan, and Rachel to Excalibur.
I'd rather Betsy be like she was in her X-Men Disassembled days.
Just my take. Something needs to change for this title to continue.
Idk. This was the title I was most excited about and it's just not working. IMO.
