Even a most favorite tv show can have characters that drive you insane.
Who are characters you hate that appear regularly in tv shows you absolutely love?

In retrospect, I can’t stand Ted Mosby whenever I catch a rerun of How I Met Your Mother.
Not a fan of Dream Girl or whatever her name is, on Supergirl.
Wasn’t a fan of Gina’s the whole time she was on Brooklyn 99.

The period around him dating Zoey (shortly before/during/after) I can't stand him. It's part of his character arc and Josh Radnor did a great job making Ted unlikable during that time period.
Arrowverse suffers from every main character in their shows being unbelievably irritating and making misguided decisions
never saw the appeal of River Song. every time she appeared I wanted her gone
Mon-El.
Most of the characters Patton Oswalt plays, but especially his arms dealer on Burn Notice. Michael went from helping desperate people and started helping this douche almost exclusively.
Mon-El
Cisco Ramon from Flash. "Yeah, I know people are dying but let's focus on the important thing: making up fun nicknames." I know they eventually tried to explain it but I was beyond done with him by that point.
Did I mention Mon-El?
Usually teenage daughters. Ozark, Homeland, 24, Blacl Lighting,. They always act out, endanger themselves and everyone else.
I pretty much liked most of the seasons of The Big Bang Theory.
But I couldn't stand Bernadette. The squeaky voice, the bossy attitude. She had some good qualities at times, but it was never enough to cover all the irritating traits that made me loathe her character.

My wife and I both hated her. We felt she was just an unlikable, selfish, narcissist. (who wasn't even funny most of the time)
Star Trek: The Next Generation - Q, just, so, so, annoying...
Babylon 5 - Marcus
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Spike
Flash - Barry Allen
Legends of Tomorrow - currently, Gary, previously, Rip
Heroes - the writers
Gina was well on her way to Suedom when she left the show.
Thirteen/Hadley on House. Started off ok, but became insufferable fast.
On Star Trek: DS9 I didn't hate Quark when they used him sparingly, but any episode focused on him I couldn't stand. I did hate his brother and nephew though. (maybe I just don't like Ferengi)
Also hated Louaxana Troi whenever she'd show up. SO annoying.
I absolutely despised Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow and how the producers, up until the very end of Season 5, tried showing him in my face without no real reason.
The guy who turns into a pig on the ranma 1/2 anime. Never liked the jerk.

^^^Exactly. She really took away from the group’s chemistry.

^^^its like the writers didn’t know what to do w. her so they just kept making her more and more over the top.

^^^I can see that.
Add Ricardo Diaz (someone pls just fucking shoot this guy already), and across at least two shows, Damien Dhark; that guy just seemed untouchable to an annoying degree.
Felicity on Arrow
Quake on Agents of Shield
Derek on Grey's Anatomy
Bart on The Simpsons
Kate on LOST
Data on Star Trek: TNG
