I feel like Portugal the Man's album "In the Mountain in the Cloud" is something that Clark would listen to a lot if he was still a teenager when it came out. It really feels like it represents this aspirational critique of the world he has, and yet still lost at how to reach his dream of being wise enough to use his powers.
Plus you know, the whole christian thing except he probably doesn't really believe in god but still wonders if there is a greater plan and what role is he supposed to play in it. I think his summers of longing for answers to his questions are probably really emphasized in the closing track in particular "Sleep Forever". But this one works too

And when I think of Themyscira this track comes to mind. It's a majestic place where nature meets bio punk innovation, with an Art Noveau Aesthetic. It's bright, with a warm wind.

I like the way you think, though I'm partial to Sinatra or Doris Day's versions. ;)

It's weird. The lyrics itself make sense, but there's something playful about the whole style of the song that it just doesn't fit with Bruce. But I'm sure there's a more morbid cover of the song that makes total sense

Duke's powers is literally being woke, being enlightened to what others don't see. So, as the Signal, Duke has to "stay woke" because "[fun-word]'s creepin" (and don't you close your eeeeyes!!). also, the socially conscious subtext of the song fits nicely with Duke's background as the the socially active "Robin" from his time in We are Robin. plus, part of the song's popularity came from it's inclusion in Get Out, and I can see Duke being a Jordan Peele fan seeing as he's a film buff.
another one I picked for Duke was Kids See Ghost by Kids See Ghost because the kid descibes his powers as seeing the ghost if where light has been. I made a whole Duke inspired playlist once.
Baby Boy by Childish Gambino is the song I'd pick for Gnomon (his dad).
