So MJ was limboed thanks to the New Teen Titans? Looks like writer and editor Marv Wolfman left Spidey a few months later to relaunch the DC teen team, and MJ didn't appear again for three years.

We'll be eating well in 2020, it seems. That said, the Red Sonja parts were my favorite, and I'm rather glad that plot was revisited in the crossover mini between Marvel and Dynamite in the 2000s. And yes, Mary Jane and Peter's evolving dynamic was positively priceless.
