Looks like Banner is trying to basically pilot Hulks body, basically Banners mind in Hulks body and apparently one of the first things he wants to do is explore space in his indestructible green ship... ok??? I dunno this seems really weird after Immortal Hulk lol, this seems more like a follow up to Mark Waids Indestructible Hulk, after Immortal Hulk it feels really weird.

Yeah I saw this. He compares Hulk to a spaceship but I don’t think that’s meant literally, just means that Hulk is a machine that lets Bruce go wherever he wants to. I’ve actually been thinking that perhaps Cates will have Hulk go on a tour of the Multiverse, would be a way for him to follow up his Maker plotline that was still left hanging after his Venom run.
Also there was never any chance of Cates maintaining the same kind of storytelling as Ewing, those two are very different writers lol. Might be fun though, especially if I’m right, Hulk has never gone into the Multiverse before has he?

No it wont be literally but expect Hulk to look different, it's teased in that article so looks like Hulk will be wearing that helmet as Banner pilots him or whatever, maybe he will also have an armor that will allow him to fly through space? Something similar to how Indestructible Hulk looked, personally once again not really a big fan of such changes... But meh...
As for the Multiverse thing, no i don't think Hulk did anything like that the closes would be the Crossroads i guess, but it's possible Cates will tie in Maker to him, after that's exactly what Cates is known for and likes to do, which is tie in characters he wrote in other books to the current book he is writing, in fact i also fully expect to see Thanos, maybe Surfer and Cosmic Ghost Rider at some point and he already confirmed we will get Hulk vs Thor.

Sale Date: July 5th, 1988
Writer: Peter David

Letterer: Rick Parker
Colorist: Gregory Wright
Editor: Jim Salicrup
Guest Stars/Supporting Cast: Marlo Chandler, Mona
Villains: Warzone; Delta, Charlie, Alpha, Bravo
Synopsis: While swinging across the Las Vegas Strip, Spider-Man’s spider-sense goes bananas as he momentarily became a target by a mysterious stranger named Delta. The danger passes and he continues on his way to a talk show appearance. Meanwhile, a rowdy group of friends named Charlie, Alpha and Bravo are enjoying drinks at a local bar and based on the small talk, we understand that they are part of a group called Warzone that gathers once a year to compete. We then cut to a lovesick Marlo making her way to the Coliseum casino to visit “Mr. Fixit” – who brushes her off. She then heads to a bar and catches the bits and pieces of the shit-show that Peter Parker is going through with this appearance on this talk show. To take her mind off of “Fixit”, she heads to the bookstore he’s going to be appearing at for an autograph session for his “Webs” book. Warzone, meanwhile, is preparing for their games – which turns out to be pretty deadly, as each individual is packing some heavy-duty military weaponry. The “games” start as Marlo arrives at the bookstore and is injured by Charlie. Peter changes to Spider-Man and helps Charlie survive another round of ordinance. He notices the injured Marlo and takes her to a hospital, then heads back for Charlie. Marlo’s roommate Mona is the nurse on-call and she calls “Fixit” about her condition. Again with the sour demeanor, and Mona verbally tears into him about how Marlo really cares for him, but the receiver is crushes before she can finish. More interaction between Spider-Man, Charlie and other members of Warzone, but it’s quickly interrupted by “Mr. Fixit” himself. He notices Charlie and makes the connection between her and Marlo’s injury. Alpha volunteers to ventilate her for him and “Fixit” agrees to it. Spidey steps in to try and stop him but a closer glance at “Fixit’s” face stops him in his tracks, as he recognizes this gray bruiser as the Hulk.
Commentary: I was kind of following the happenings of Spidey with Web and Spec during this time, so I knew about this little crossover. What I didn’t know was how shitty the coloring was on the paper until after buying it. Wow…what a fugly looking book. The PAD Hulk Visionaries volume 3 cleaned it up pretty good, but some of those pages with Spider-Man swinging across Vegas at the beginning…bleh. The cover is…odd, to say the least. It reminds me of those old Marvel colorforms sets. Spidey and the Warzone were placed ok, but a let’s slap a clumsy looking Hulk at the top right about…HERE! Done, mail it. My favorite line of the book was Spidey’s reaction at the end; “No! It..it can’t be! He’s…he’s supposed to be green! He supposed to be stupid! He’s supposed to be dead! But that voice…that face…”Mr. Fixit” is the Hulk!”

I don't think Hulk is going to wear this helmet, it looks broken and this whole situation probably has something to do with MODOK who is shown on some panels. Hulk probably was forced to wear the helmet but now he is free. I dunno, we will see when it comes out.

Come to think of it, I don't think we have had that many cosmic/outer space Hulk stories apart from of course Planet Hulk, the Jarella stuff, his ocassional run-ins with the Troyjans etc.

Just a rumor but the next Marvel fighting game could be based on WWH.

I’d count the Crossroads era as cosmic

Doubt it, but it would fit NRS pretty well if they were to do a Marvel game. I would get far more enjoyment out of Hulk wrecking everyone than what they did with Supes at least lol.

How long does it generally take Marvel to produce an omnibus of a series?

Hickman got an omnibus of his X-Men within the year his run on the main title ended. I think early 2022 for the first omnibus of Ewing Hulk sounds realistic. Like Hickman this has been an incredibly popular run.

I would be down for an Immortal Hulk omni.
It's been a long, LONG time since I have thoroughly enjoyed a Hulk book like this (closest was the short-lived Duggan run). If anything, at least I'll know they'll put more effort into it than the first PAD Hulk omni.

Gamma flight spin off is cool. Also immortal hulk take on leader and xemnu long time hulk villains is nice

Has the Immortal/devil/joe hulk had any kind of revenge on Nightmare since this current era began? I'd really like to see that, no holds barred. Does Nightmare know any secrets about the One Below All?
