Ralph Fiennes gave it the old college try in that big screen adaptation from the late 90's with Uma Thurman as Emma Peel and Sean Connery as the bad guy. To have called that a train wreck would've been kind.

Fiennes isn't a pimple on Macnees butt as far as talent goes. Macnee was John Steed, there were no others.
