I also want to put in a vote for Wonder Man's solo, it was a heck of a lot of fun and I'd love to see another solo with Simon and a similar premise
Agreed with everything you said about Wonder Man's ongoing series, especially the artwork:

To the utmost, I agree. A modern-day classic, IMHO.
I liked the couple Thunderstrike issues I read, as well as the issue where Iron Man fought Mr. Hyde and ran into a ton of obstacles trying to defuse a bomb only to learn HE was the bomb. Titania and the Absorbing Man's wedding was fun, too.
If you're referring to the first volume of Thunderstrike, I thought it was fine. OTOH, I very much prefer the second volume where Kevin takes over:

quasar although that series is mark gruenwald's baby, 'cosmos in collusion' was a great storyline , series was bogged down by all the infiniity saga events and ran out of steam by the time 'starblast' came about.

warren ellis hellstorm -though it has a hardcover omnibus now , back then, it was very underrated and did do do that well = ellis hellstorm was very dark and grim , scary as hell

Agreed. When Angel Medina worked with Marvel, I couldn't get enough of his art. But as soon as he left, I lost interest.
As for my choice of underrated Marvel Comics: Silver Surfer (especially Englehart's run & DeMatteis' run)

I felt that John Byrne's X-Men the Hidden Years was underappreciated.
The first Contest of Champions was pretty good.
I also thought that Tom Defalcos Thor run was underappreciated also.
-
I always felt that Brand New Day was underrated because of the event it bounced off of. On its own, the run was pretty good.

I always thought Gruenwalds Squadron Supreme is a bit underrated.
It gets it's share of props, but I honestly believe it deserves to be on the same level as Kingdom Come or Watchmen.
