To say Marvel isn't doing much better, I would disagree that .Marvel has consistent team books in the X-men which regular feature minorities so on that aspect they are way better. But the proof is just about everywhere else as well for example for something I didn't list Marvel has Black Cat a LGBTQ lead and three other female books currently one behind DC with but is because DC has two Wonder Woman books but currently Electra is daredevil right now it is same amount of book. If just one minority is show up in Marvels teams books they are doing miles better than DC.
-
When it comes to team books you simply don't have teams without minority characters today, and Marvel puts at the moment just way more team books out than DC (I think you have basically listed all of DCs current team books), mostly because they have an insane number of X-Man books at the moment.
And when it comes to solos, I allready said that Black Panther and Mile Morales Spiderman are basically Marvels only succesfull solo POCs, and that Shang Chi now gets his first ongoing since the mid 80s afiak doesn't really change that.
And do limited series really matter? If the characters were successfull they would have ongoing books.

Because of the old guard in management shot themselves in the foot.
In the early 2000's they were way ahead of the curve, look at Cassandra cain, a disabled Asian women in a solo title as a example. But this made the old guard feel old so the destroyed them. In a world where they keep her as the main batgirl she'd be right behind ww. Its all bad decision on management

Kind of hard to beat Catwoman though as she has pretty consistently held a solo title since the 80's. Even in the breaks in between, she was co-starring in a title like Gotham City Sirens.
Speaking of, Selina Kyle is now, like Iris West, racebent in pretty much all modern adaptations. The comics should have racebent her in the late 60's or 70's post-Eartha Kitt. Don't get how the television show could have been that groundbreaking but not the comics even decades later. Only person who (kind of) tried was Frank Miller with Year One.

Selina Kyle appears in Batman: The Long Halloween Part 1 & 2 and she is white. Eartha Kitt doesn't count. She did play Catwoman, but her character wasn't Selina Kyle (even though it wasn't stated on the show). I remember reading that somewhere but I forgot where.

Racebending wasn't as common back then as it is now. There are still plenty of adaptations that depict Selina as a white woman like the Nolan movies, all the DC animated films and the recent video games.
Cass may not have beaten Selina but she could and should have been more prominent than she is now if not for behind-the-scenes screw-ups.

She is Latina and voiced by an Afro-Latina.

Nobody on the show was "Selina Kyle" as the name was introduced later. That doesn't mean the character of Catwoman didn't exist before the name Selina was introduced. Even "Catwoman" was introduced later in the comics as she was just referred to as "The Cat" in her early appearances. It's still the same character though.

TDKR was just one movie and pushing almost 10 years now. She will be portrayed as a black woman in the new movies. Everything from DC Super Hero Girls, the Harley Quinn series and the new animated movies will portray her as a woman of color.
As for the video games, if they didn't outright state she's white, then she may as well be Latina like in the comics.

True but the 60's Batman show gave DC a big opportunity to do something groundbreaking with Catwoman and they proceeded to ignore it. If they had racebended her back then, nobody would be blinking an eyelid now more than half a century later.

Is she still latina in the comics? I thought they retconned her into being of Italian descent.

She can be both? She was supposed to be Latina from her mother's side. Also, not all Italians = white, so even Falcone could be POC if he has Moorish heritage.

And it was still going on as late as 2018. Heroes in Crisis, in addition to all its other problems, killed off POC heroes like Hotspot and Solstice.
And it was still going on as late as 2018. The other two had never been that popular and in limbo.
Hotspot and the rest of the 1996 Titans (maybe with exception of Argent) were essentially D-List event fodder since that series got cancelled.

that's kinda the point. the issue isn't really the profile of these characters of color but more the fact that DC has a tendency of killing off characters of color in bulk because they are supposedly C or D or G list or whatever as oppose to just using and raising their profile by actually developing these characters of color. it's an extension of the same issue of DC failing to properly manage their characters of color.

I don't think the name Selina Kyle is used on the show - I could be wrong - but the Golden Age Catwoman's identity as Selina Kyle was revealed in 1950. https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Batman_Vol_1_62
