Hard to appreciate a character when I have no idea who/what/where/why it is . . .

This guy showed up during Forever Evil. Remember how Cyborg had that big, bulky body in the New52? Well, that body became sentient and evil (I think it was some Apokolips programming from the Mother Box? Don't recall) ripped free from Victor's organics and joined the Crime Syndicate.
His whole thing was wanting to experience emotion, and.....I guess he thought killing people and ruining the world would get him that? It's been a while.
Anyway, this lead to Vic getting a more streamlined design, which was changed again in DCYOU. Grid himself (itself?) has only showed up a few times but seems to have some real potential as Cyborg's "broken mirror" rogue. The origin is pretty good, as far as villain origins go, the conflict is real personal (as you'd imagine) and their powers are, obviously, well matched.
He's a good villain.....or rather, he could be, if someone would put a little more work into him.
If memory serves he's also an alternate skin for Cyborg in Injustice 2, with unique voice lines and stuff.

Thank God you did. But you should be there for Darkseid War, where Victor becomes Grid. IDK WHY THAT JUST MAKES ME LAUGH

His voice in this game makes me laugh so hard. I swear one of these days he's gonna call up somebody and tell them he's kidnapped their daughter.

Ha! I never actually unlocked him!

Look up his voice on YouTube and prepare to laugh your ass off. Especially when he says his own name. There's something about the way he says it that makes me die laughing.

Forever Evil was crap, so was pretty much everything in that era. :p
Forever Evil was crap, so was pretty much everything in that era. :p
There were quite a few thing from the New52/DCYou period I enjoyed, but . . . there was also a lot of stuff I didn't like at all.
I just re read Forever Evil for the first time, in print. I dunno, I had fun reading it. And I like that Bruce was the one who could connect with Diana inside Firestorm, cuz I totally ship Bruce and Diana <3
I prefer Darkseid War...
Don't ask me why I don't like Forever Evil. Sure, I like Grid watching everyone, but then there's his fucking death...
Forever Evil was good in my eyes, he needs to make a comeback.
I liked Cyborg becoming Grid in Darkseid War; but I do agree Grid needs to make a comeback with emotion.
And a crush on Cyborg.
Grid appears also on DC's Lego Super Villains, which is a funny adaptation of Forever Evil
