Cool trailer but is Hickman purposefully pulling our leg with this "The Xmen ARE WINNING" shtick. If that's the case why do sense a permanent feeling of dread on every page?????????

I mean he wouldn't even know about it, as it sounds like we're getting pre-Deadly Genesis Vulcan. Which will continue to intrigue me on where they get to reset someone, and what happens if they find out what awful things happen to them they have forgotten...like be left for dead on an island everyone is living on and then be reborn and rule a galaxy as a crazed tyrant.

Forgotten with Guggenheim's departure, I assume. I guess we'll see when Deathbird shows up in New Mutants, but I think it has a good chance of ending up with Zarathos and Lilith's baby.

If this is pre-Deadly Genesis Vulcan would that make him a teenager like kid Cable or Hope?

Yeah, it feels like one of those too good to be true things. I imagine a twist will happen, but it’ll be a while.

Hickman already said that something really bad will happen, give it sometime

Xavier will accidentally spill chocolate pudding on Magneto's white cape. The feud will be worse than before.

Wait until they ruin Wolverine's musical number for the anniversary party. After that, blood must flow.

Wolverine's musical number really would be the last straw.

Murmur is back! Who’s he with?
I don't even remember who Murmur is but my best guess on the fiery person is Magma, history's most boring New Mutant after Rusty and Skids. ETA: Scratch that, that's definitely a child and not Magma.
Nice to see Cecilia in another panel.
Looking forward to lots of discussion about the Summers family and their new home!
Hmmm. Talking about stuff what without going into spoilers. So I don't talk about details just about how the book affected me.
I liked this issue the big highlight for me was the last page in which I squealed a little, that is nice touch the X-men mythos. The rest of the book good it was a little quieter than I expected. It is going to be interesting to see other people reaction on this book there I think will be a lot of talk did Hickman get characters voices right. I have to read it through again but I was mostly fine with everything on my first read through. The thing I was most happy with it is that this book killed a slightly myth said on the forums. I would have rather a little more action for a first issue but character work to start is nice too.
