Hopefully that's the closest Bendis ever gets to writing the Fantastic Four. Might check this out solely to see how Ben is doing.

Strangely enough Carlos Pacheco did not draw Ben as all muscle in human form.

Ben actually looks a bit chubby there, lol.
They were still saying "Holy Hannah" in 2005? Wasn't that one of Marvel's stock Comics Code compliant profanity substitutes?
Well, Ben must be in his late 40s/early 50s by now.It makes sense for him to put on a little weight at his age.
John Buscema drew a great, gorgeous "civilian" Ben Grimm--here's an example from FF #107. Sinnott inking natch :)
Well, Ben must be in his late 40s/early 50s by now.It makes sense for him to put on a little weight at his age.
One of the Thing's powers is that he doesn't age - if he was 30 when the FF started, he'd chronologically not be much older now, as he only ages when he's somehow been cured.
The character doesn't age while having a rocky hide?
Does that also go for the Richard Rider Nova supervillain Archibald Dyker Diamonhead?

May have to see how this turns out, and what this means for Ben going forward.
