I'm just gonna say it, Skin serves better as a martyr than being back alive. His death really means something to me because it proves that not every mutant should be an Xman, it shows the failing of the school as an institution, and he was a beloved character to me, and to the fictional characters he called friends. If he were brought back, he'd just be used a comical wallpaper.
Synch on the other hand deserves a chance at life. He was the Jean Grey of GenX.

Though not a big character, I am always happy when Deadpool's daughter Ellie gets to stay a CoC.
When she was first introduced in volume 3, she looked like this.

But she bounced around more than Monet, if that's possible. lol So she had her periods of bleaching in that volume.

But since volume 4 of Deadpool, she's been consistently brown (or black which anyone prefers). And in addition to that, they also let have braids in the Xmas issue & curly hair in Young's DP recently.

lol! my poor Berto it has been awhile since I checked up on him. has he been given back his melanin?
We got some question on the fate of another POC.
[spoil] Uncanny X-Men 17 apparently raises a question of whether or not Sunspot got killed during WoR.
I can't imagine them doing that after just bringing him back to the X-books not long ago, plus gaining a lot of notoriety & development with the Avengers. But this is floating around in spoilers given some dialogue on the issue. If he is dead, he'll probably get revived. Not like that doesn't happen. If he's dead for real...then Rosenberg just signed his own death warrant. He said he'd kill 3 men & 3 women. We got the 3 women, so his last kill is gonna be a man.[/spoil]
I definitely agree with you. Synch had so much leadership potential and depth to him.

Blue skin/fur is an X-Men thing.

Blue in mammals is pretty rare. There are some exceptions, among certain primates and to a lesser extent the blue whales, but in the grand scheme of things, most mammals are some variety of brown(melanin). The blue in mandrills, for example, comes from the nanostructure of the skin's collagen fibers scattering light into blue wavelengths physically, whereas melanin actually is absorbing and transmuting light, causing the darkening. Makes visual sense that striking blue humans would be a novel mutation as it is so aberrant.
