Ah, hmmm, I'm a bit worried honestly. Speaking as a Wonder Woman fan, Tamaki's run on Wonder Woman has been very underwhelming. I sincerely hope she does a better job on Detective Comics (which I have been enjoying immensely these past few months). *crosses fingers*
Fantastic news on art but man Mariko writing isn't that good at all.

Agreed, on both counts. :) :(

I really doubt that Dan Mora would last that long on a monthly schedule, but I'm open to be pleasantly suprised.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this team but (like you) I hope I'm wrong.
My issues with Tamaki aside, this is the first time we've had a female writer on 'Tec, let alone writing Batman since Devin Grayson on Gotham Knights.
Hm. Can't say I am overwhelmed by this news. Not even sure I'm whelmed. Tamaki hasn't impressed me with anything she's written that I've read (admittedly only Hulk and Wonder Woman that I can think of.) However maybe her style is better suited to a Batman type rather than a super type.
Did you read her X-23 run that followed Tom Taylor's All-New Wolverine?

I think most folks point the finger at the editors versus the writers.
Wilson, Orlando and Tamaki? And an editor can't make that work?

Well, people liked Orlando well enough.

I know I did. *raises and shakes hand enthusiastically*
Yeah, I read her She-Hulk run and Wonder woman, Tamaki is, at her best, an average writer. but nothing abominable, she will just be a forgettable writer for a title that has unfortunately known many other bad authors.
Dan Mora is a phenomenal artist but it's not worth losing Once & Future. Really love that book and while I wanted Mora on Nightwing, it was with the condition that he finish Once & Future.

Nevermind. He's a god. This is a win/win.
Hmmm... I've not been into Tamaki's stuff but I might still get excited depending on the direction she takes the book in because Dan Mora's art is definitely gorgeous.
