I was a member of two groups for awhile. I wanted something a bit more quieter, so I stuck with the Ultimates.
And see..that was part of the problem. With so many personalities...friendly chatters and those willing to converse with those you may not have 100% in common became RARE--and all the CBR forums desperately need those type of posters.
Again, the comradery didnt happen. People withdrew to their own corner of the universe..and the main one imploded in snark.
Goodwill is a high commodity i hope the new CBR has more than the old one. And if you could look at it as sacrificing for the greater good perhaps the view of what has transpired will change.

I'm against the one chat thread only rule, but you guys could try just using the profile visitor messages for now. It's not ideal for more than two people, but could still work.
I'm on Facebook, but it's with my real life family and friends. I don't have anything againts you, but i don't want you to access my Facebook stuff. :b
All I do on Facebook is run my pages.

I said I wanted something quieter. I don't find the new singular chat thread quieter.

That's pretty easy for you to say since the BP thread was left alone. You still have your private corner. X-fans don't.

but what if I didnt want to just post in the BP thread?/ because i didn't/
before BP I posted in the X-forums all the time..about 90%. The culture there was shall i say..You know what thats not important.
why cant we all just get along?

If we could have our community topics, we would get along.
It's so ridicilous to try and keep to have a discussion on the singular topic.

You do.
if you are a wolverine fan..you can talk about Wolverine..and appreciate the character in an appreciation thread.
if you like Squirrel Girl there is a thread. if you like any Ultimate book you can discuss them--Spiderman, etc.
the only thing removed was excessive off-topic discussions.

We can all get along. We could have a general CBR thread along with the threads we already had as well. That would be the most ideal solution, to be honest.
Also, if the X-fans culture isn't important, why did you edit your post twice to include that sentiment?

Maybe then they should implement group chats.

Which is what we need.
Jesus christ, it's impossible to have a conversation on the CBR chat thread. Ultimately Off-Topic could spin 4-6 pages of 1 subject easily by approx 20 members max, it was so smooth and well done. Now it's.... Something else.

what would the communtiy chat section look like?
Pun, and witty exchange Community Thread
Fashion Community Thread
Lewd talk Community Thread
I am more Superior than Them Community thread
Dont you just hate it when community Thread
and on
and on and on
does it fix the problem of bullying and Isolation? Nope.
You don't find it interesting that the one's protesting the most are the ones who really don't want to talk to anyone else (outside of their clique)?
-
Move on to where? All I want to do is talk to my friends about random crap and they're not part of CBR's mega thread.
www.twitter.com
www.facebook.com
This is CBR, where the forums are now run how CBR wants them run. Why do people have such a difficult time understand that? It's not your house...you're just renting the apartment here.

So the rule about talking about other posters, and using foul language and posting rape threats and violence can continue?
i think its good that everyone gets to see what is said/
-
Or the ones who want to talk to people without having to sift through tons of meaningless posts. And again, your clique wasn't touched, so that's easy for you to say.
