Agreed. Brubaker's run from 2012 is still the best, IMHO.
Anyone know whether Brubaker ever commented on his decision to split these two up ... and whether there was a master plan he’d imagined prior to leaving Marvel. For a writer so wedded, so connected to a particular character, to throw it all away in complete disarray is an enigma to me.

I think he said it was his own choice, if I recall correctly, because he was leaving the book. But don't quote me on that.
