However, their first album was kinda mediocre. "Jan Brady" was probably the best song, but by the time of the 2nd record they improved by leaps and bounds. "Edgar" from Jerk Of All Trades

More industrial dance music
Noticed there was kind of a lack of industrial acts after going through all 17 pages. I got turned on to the music when a girl I had a class with in college suggested I check out Skinny Puppy. Up to that point, which was 1988, I listened to mostly metal and rock, but was burnt out on it and was looking for something different though with a similar edge. Industrial just happened to scratch that itch, though I quickly went through that period by the early to mid 90s, moving on to acts like Test Dept., SPK and Einsturzende Neubauten before eventually discovering noise.

Another from Skinny Puppy, one of their "better known" songs.

Since I mentioned Einsturzende Neubauten thought I should post something from them as well. Unfortunately since about 2000 the band has mellowed considerably, sounding like an anemic lounge act, but in the 80s and 90s they were a force to be reckoned with.

Another Neubauten favorite, which is somewhat more structured than the previous selection.
