The members listed on each of those polls were only those who first became members of the Justice Society of America between 1999 and 2008; any characters who were members of the JSA prior to 1999 were listed on two previous polls/threads.

But some of the major vote getters in the previous two polls, like Obsidian (Todd Rice), Damage (Grant Emerson), Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders), Doctor Fate (Hector Hall), and Hourman II (Rick Tyler) aren't quite as strong in the early voting here so far.

Ooh, poor Tomcat... He's not exactly sweeping the board, here. :)

The irony for my votes would be that Thom Kallor is probably my favorite character out of the lot, and yet, I think of him as a displaced Legionnaire, and not really all that 'Justice Society' ish. So I voted for people like Cyclone and Mr. Terrific, whom I don't associate with other groups (or Damage, who never seemed to 'click' as a Teen Titan anyway).

I have no idea if she wasn't a member of the team or not (not gonna make that mistake twice!), but it feels weird to have Obsidian on the team and not Jade. Still, I regularly vote for a Hawkgoose, but not Hawkgander, so it's not like I'm terribly consistent about keeping friends or siblings or couples together. :)

Jesse Chambers is running away with this, but she'll always be Jesse Quick to me, not Liberty Belle.
