So much for subtext. Also, Kate Kane blushing like an anime girl (I'm glad they brought the bob back) :p.
Watched Catwoman: Hunted....it was ok. Not my fave. I hate Selina being widely known as Catwoman as is so wasnt a fan of it in this film and she spent so much time throwing out some witty remark or flirting that it got old fast.

Well, it sounds in-character but maybe not balanced out well with the other material? Kind of sounds like an MCU movie (with more flirting) :p.

It is very in character but when you have 1:30hr movie vs....10mins of usual screen time... you gotta even it out lol. I think starting the film out in Gotham and setting up the film would've been better than just jumping into her mission.

It's part of why she works well in Batman stories ;).

Just watched this last night - really enjoyed it! Selina was great, some awesome Tom King shoutouts, and Kate and the rest of the cast was very fun. Some genuinely scary stuff at the end, too!

That's interesting...
Would it be accurate to say that all of Tom King's Bat/Cat stuff starting from 'Batman/Catwoman' ongoing to the recent 'Batman/Catwoman Special' is now in an alternate continuity?

I've been saying this since it was announced (since the Annual #2, actually): anything that is in the future is automatically AU.
