Bumping this since we're about only a week out from the UK release and two from the US release figured I'd bump it. Probably reviews coming in a few days, although I'm not sure when the embargo lifts.
Some parts of the soundtrack have leaked, seems like Zimmer will be doing a lot of callbacks to classic Bond soundtracks, like David Arnold tended to do for the Brosnan films.

with some very, very familiar music....

Daniel Craig has spoken and I hope MGM or whoever owns Bond now listens. None of these woke stuff gender bending is necessary. Bond should not be female, now he can black or latino or Asian, though I still dont think that is necessary either, since Flemming based him off the more traditional British culture which is a white male. however it is very very very necessary he stays male.
If they make Bond a female it will bomb at the box office, not even Halle Berry, who is considered one of the most iconic and beautiful bond girls wants Bond to be a woman

Halle Berry Doesn't Think James Bond Should Be Played By A Woman
The ship has sailed. No female bond please.
-
Why do people honestly believe they are going to change James Bond into a female?
-
It's come up a few times going back decades really (EW's "World is not enough" review, which really hated the film, suggested Sharon Stone for Jane Bond way back in 1999) and that Lynch is playing a 00 with the same number since Bond has retired at least at the beginning of the film seems to have fueled this.

That was very well done. I wonder which of Hans' thousands of assistants actually thought of this :D
-
It's also been noted that in addition to the All The Time in the World music, the track has nods to "City of Lovers" to Casino Royale. Another time Bond thought he was resigning, hanging around in Italy and had found true love, only for reality to seemingly come crashing down again.....

According to "rumors" and more from people....No Time to Die has to make $900+ million to break even at box office. Which is....well its friggen insane to see that figure. If true can the film do that in this pandemic world now ?

Couldn’t they just edit in some more product placement? Like maybe Bond could be holding a bag of Greggs sausage rolls during an on foot chase sequence.
-
I think that was an issue during SPECTRE too.
Regarding product placement I think they had to change some of the products like mobile phones or something due to the delay. Also I think this movie has four Aston Martins-the classic DB5 (Bond's personal car) the V8 from Living Daylights, a DBS driven by Nomi and the Valhalla.
Of course there's the usual Heineken and Omega stuff too. Wonder if Red Stripe will show up, I think Heineken owns them, they're a major Jamaican beer and was one of Bond's earliest and most blatent product placements in Dr.No.

I mean I don't know maybe. Could it do it? Well in this environment I don't know. But it will run in China so its possible.

I'm guessing we're going to see reviews either later today or tomorrow, at least from British critics, since the first UK screening is tonight (or Afternoon if you're in the US)
-
Every time someone suggests Bond should be female I think... why don't you do a bloody movie for this lovely lady then?

Modesty Blaise literally IS a female Bond, but she's also her own character.
-
Because people don't want to risk trying to build a brand from virtually nothing, it's much easier to hijack an existing property. I agree there are many other characters that should not be too difficult to turn into a success, but as we saw with the recent Charlie's Angels, one misstep and you're back to square one. Bond, like Spider-Man, Batman, and a few others, has built up enough momentum that a bad movie or two isn't enough to derail the train in the public's eye.

They did try to spin off Wai Lin and Jinx a while back.
