I'm torn about who to root for in this series. I'm not a fan of the Astros because of their cheating but I have loved Dusty Baker since he played for the Dodgers and I collected his baseball cards.
By the way, here's an article on Dusty Baker that was published on SI.com today.
I like Baker for the same reason, but not enough to want the Cheatros to beat my Braves.

Well, that's a bit different. You already root for the Braves. I have no stake in either team.

Heh, I thought playing The Avengers' Theme for the Cheatros introduction was maybe a BIT much...:p Presumably Altuve doesn't skip leg day or something...much like Cap.
-
Soler leads off with a solo shot to center. He becomes the first batter ever to lead off the WS with a HR...which fact I find incredible....you'd have thought it happened fairly often.
-
2-0 Atlanta. Austin Riley doubles in Albies.
-
Morton's looking bad. Albies saves him with bases loaded. Still 2-0.

5-0 Braves on a 2 run HR by Duvall.
Wow 5-0 now Braves
Go Braves!
-
Oh yes, Bill Murray intro. Otahni got a special award from the comish for being awesome, first time since Jeter.
-
Morton is out on an injury in the 3rd.
-
I am not an Astros fan but this Kyle Tucker guy is going to be a superstar. He hits the ball hard like 7 out of 10 times. He has all the make up of a great long term hitter.

His leg is broke. He is done for the series.

Losing Morton hurts but the Braves still took game 1 convincingly
Interestingly Jorge Soler became the first player in MLB history to lead off a World Series(game 1 top of the first) with a homer
