Hell, just the fact Robin is getting a big fight is wonderful. The last time that happened was in Skypeia. She's well due for this.
And it looks like Sanji and Jack are going to face off, since they're both heading for the fallen samurai. That could be a cool encounter.
Yeah, could be the case, but they change direction so often i don't know anymore.
It has two options in my mind:
Sanji goes there and fight Jack since it's probably Hiyori taking care of the scabbards and he'll protect her.
Yamato goes there to fight Jack, since, once again, it's probably Hiyori taking care of the scabbards and momo have yet to meet his sister.

Marco is cementing himself as one of my favorite characters this chapter!! Marco's been delightfully hype this whole war arc.

Dude is a beast, fighting two yonkou commanders at the same time and healing people.
-
It does feel nice to see Marco get to show off a bit after all the hype he's gotten over the years.
I do hope that Sanji decided to go save the samurai. Yamato can protect Momo.
I doubt that Hyogoro's going to die next chapter, but I wonder what'll save him. Best bet would be Chopper's medicine, that might also turn a bunch of Kaido's forces who don't like being infected with a death disease over to their side.

And over in the anime we get to see how Roger and Whitebeard greet each other.

The anime has been top notch since the beginning of the Wano arc.

Amazing chapter for both Luffy and Zorro
[spoil]Someone on reddit posted some other images where Zorro might have shown conqueror's haki but then flatly denied it, so this fits a pattern.[/spoil]
-
That was a really good chapter.
This whole epic fight was pretty much just the pre-amble for our main event now.
Monkey D. Luffy vs. Kaido, let's flipping go.
Also glad that Kid and Killer are doing their own thing by going after Big Mom, though I kinda doubt that they'll be able to beat her. And it'll be interesting to see what Zoro and Law do from here on.
-
Kid unlocking awakening against Big Mom would be a nice parallel to Luffy getting conquerors upgrade. Nice to see Zoro getting conquerors haki this arc is treating him so well. Wonder if he will meet up with Hiyori if she is indeed the person who healed the scabbards

I think the implication is is that Zoro has unconsciously been tapping into his CoC whenever he used Asura but he doesn't know what it is and can't control it yet. I wonder why Mihawk clue him in?
Unless Sanji does something incredible in the upcoming chapters, it looks like the Zoro/Sanji debate is settled in Zoro's favor for now.

Never been a debate since the timeskip, Oda already shown that Zoro is stronger. I don't care for Zoro and Sanji is my favorite Straw hat, but i'm pretty okay with this, Sanji's goal as never to be the strongest and that's something Zoro strives to be.
However it's impossible to have a civil conversation about this topic in the internet on One Piece dedicated foruns, cause the fanboys of either side are very toxic.

A One Piece thread...nice.
Been a huge fan since its beginning and follow the Manga with cats eyes.

That specific Topic is one interesting, but seems like its everywhere the same as in Germany where the discussion isnt staying civil for long.
Personally i get why it is such a hot topic.
The Whole Monster Trio thing and the little feud Zoro and Sanji had, are things that made the pre timeskip so entertaining.
Since the Timeskip, it seems like Zoro is on such a higher level while Sanji is way behind.
It has pretty much ended this funny feud they had somewhat.
But as you said, Sanjis Goal is not to become the strongest at something...he just wants to be strong enough to protect his friends.
Zoros main Goal is becoming the Strongest Swordsman...his goal is literally becoming super Strong.
Thats a main difference in what they strive for.
I can see both sides, those who want to see the pre timeskip rivalry and want Sanji and Zoro be on the same level...but i also understand that this is hardly possible considering their goals.
But i cant deny that i miss having a good Sanji all out fight...but that goes for the whole strawhat crew.
We havent seen an all out fight from them all yet right?
The only time they all were together fighting was Fishmen island and they hardly gone all out there.
So i do wish we would get our 1 vs 1 fights with all the strawhats.
-
I'm sure they all will have their time to shine in Wano. Most fight are already in place.

I think Oda commented on this himself during Whole Cake Island arc when Judge and his family thought Sanji had zero value because he wasn't a fighter, only for Sanji to prove them wrong. A lot of fans don't realize that they are being like Judge when they are acting like Sanji's useless as a fighter. The arc itself didn't even involve the usual 'fighters' of the crew sans Luffy and Jinbei. I've been in those debates myself where people thought Sanji and by extension Nami, Ussop, Chopper and Brook had no value because they weren't top tier fighters. WCI is one of my favorite arcs because it feels like Oda wrote it just to prove the haters wrong. lol
