[B]No![/B] Complete betrayal of Luke Skywalker and others, by modern "creators" who don't actually like Star Wars, but just want to "fix" what they see as wrong about it. Not actually developing the characters, but betraying them.

But to keep it going.....
A) No, it was poor writhing and lazing storytelling. I saw that it really added nothing to the story.
B) I would have gone with Empire, it was awesome... But now I would have to say Rouge One.

Favorite to least in order Empire Strikes Back, A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Phantom Menace (Qui-Gon and Maul were Cool and Duel of the Fates is awesome), Revenge of the Sith, (Ok going forward is just hate and ranking crap to me) Attack of the Clones (You know this film makes no sense but has a cool Jedi battle in retrospect and cool Obi-Wan and Fett fight so it's no longer last), Solo, & The Last Jedi.

2. From an overall film quality standpoint? ESB. As my personal favorite, even though it’s got some flaws? The Force Awakens; I love Finn’s story... which probably explains a good deal of my dissatisfaction with TLJ.

1. No. I did not nor will I ever like the Last Jedi. I'm always open to debate but I don't think there is anyone who can convince me that this movie was anything short of terrible.
2. Return of the Jedi. I almost put Empire Strikes back but Return of the Jedi is definitely my favorite. Of course it had it's own issues, (ugh Ewoks) but the central theme of family and hope still came through. at least to me.

TLJ has some problems but I liked it.
The best was Empire Strikes Back but my favorite was the original, aka A New Hope. It was the story at its simplest and purest.
