I will buy the moon knight by Hudson and company, and it gives me hope about a moon knight by Ellis, Bunn and Wood omnibus.
The Huston/Benson/Hurwitz run was the first time I'd read an MK book, and I loved it. I really liked how Civil War got incorporated. I'd had a working knowledge of MK though since Huston uses old enemies and supporting cast, so it's best to kinda know in general what's come before. It's like if you read a Wolverine story but didn't know who Sabretooth was. You could still enjoy it but if you knew their character history you'd be into it more.
I still haven't read the original Moench run, though I do have that first omni. I'll be getting these two new ones for sure.
Thanks. The first Moench omni is hard to find around here.
If they're all on one order, you'll be charged once at check out. I do all of my monthly floppies thru DCBS, so I get one big box every 4 weeks; anything book/comic released in the period (even if it's on an older order) ships out together with one single $7.50 charge.
Hope this makes sense and I'm not creating more confusion... lol ;)
Thanks for replying. I recall you helped explain them to me a while back when I was considering starting to pre-order through them. I think I've got it, I just was surprised that I would pay the single ship charge since this order I placed will have books sent out over 3 separate deliveries.
They have Hellions and Wolverine recollected in HC but no sign of Hickmans Xmen run. I know he has the Omni, but... What if I just want an OHC?

It was originally announced as an OHC, then changed to an omni.
Out of curiosity, what would you see the OHC containing? I guess the first ten issues, then another OHC would have his remaining issues and all the Giant-Size issues?

Basically - yes. Vol.1 would just be 1-11, 12-14 are X of Swords I believe, then Vol. 2 can be 15-20+ his 5 oversized Xmen issues. I know it's probably more reasonable to get the Omni, but then I have to get that, then X of Swords, then Hellfire Gala to be caught up. My wallet needs aottle room to breathe.
On an unrelated note.
I'm assuming (given the latest solicits) that there will be Inferno, Trial of Magneto and Onslaught as three smaller events that happen before the next big stage for the Xmen.
why doesn't the hickman omnibus contain his new mutants issues??

A missed opportunity.
IF they put those issues in, I will absolutely buy it.
why doesn't the hickman omnibus contain his new mutants issues??
Especially because it directly leads into a two issue arc in his X-Men

Upcoming Epic collections.
I'm assuming the Hawkeye Epic collection will mean we get an omnibus similar to Black Widow and Morbius.
Two reprints in there I'm really excited about. Two new ones I'll be getting, too.
I'm hoping the DD reprint of Heart of Darkness presages them finishing (well, starting) Nocenti's run soon
Despite the video title, I counted only 25 Epics, some of which have already been announced.
