Red X interview by Tim Sheridan, not too much information except that Dick Grayson feels a sense of responsibility as he was Red X and the three students who are Batfans (the Batpack) are the ones investigating the mystery of Red X. Also he makes a good point of why should I tell you at the start who Red X is, that is the mystery.

[center]LOL! Looks like Beast Boy's thinking the same thing, as well ;)

Almost looks straight out of the cartoon :).

Alright so June has Red X messing with the Suicide Squad after the crossover, which is interesting but honestly as someone interested in Red X is he coming off as a bit "OP" to anyone else.
Like the inherent concept of this Red X is that he's a new student at Titans Academy with an obsession over Dick Grayson's unknown history as the first Red X...but this student already sounds like a very capable master according to solicits. I mean maybe it will be different when the comic is out but he sounds like he will wallop the squad who consists of Peacemaker, Talon (you know one of the undead zombies who nearly killed Batman), and Superboy the clone of Superman and that he nearly gets the one up on Waller himself. Is it starting to sound weird to anyone else?

I'm curious is Bruce knows and aprove of Dick Grayson's Red X alter ego. In some ways it's somethign Batman would do. Or maybe Dick did it completely on his own.
Waiting for those Red X vs Deathstroke flashbacks

it could work if the character has some sort of ability that makes them particularly capable. remember, this is a X-Men/My Hero/Sky High pastiche, they very well could be characters that look normal but have some kind of physicality power or enhanced learning ability.
...or something else :cool::p

I think his super power is called "hype." But yes. It would be interesting if they took our expectations and flipped them a bit and revealed that he has powers. (But not flip them too much and pull a Ralph Bohner on us ;) )

i mean I wouldn't put it past DC to go the lazy route and just say they're "naturally talented" or they just are that good because they "studied Dick's moves" or some other handwavey answer that's essentially "we need him to be that good because he's Red X" but if my secret theory is correct, it may actually make sense. may, even then it's still 50/50.
(ah the Bohner maneuver, the dickest of moves)

Well please let us know if your theory is right or not at some point, I would be interested in hearing it some day.

Oh okay...I just read Teen Titans Academy #1 and while there is no reveal about who Red X is, we do lean a little bit into the legacy that is Red X
[spoil] And by Legacy I mean more then just Dick Grayson. Because what we learn in this issue is that this is the THIRD non-Dick Grayson Red X, that after Dick wore the suit two other people before now suited up as Red X. Basically what we have now is a line of Red X with this kid being the newest one, unknown at this time how he relates to the other two. Was genuinely not expecting other people then Grayson and I’m interested to see where this goes. [/spoil]

Red X is Brick Pettirosso.

I mean he seems to stick out right now.
Other possibilities for me include that Dane kid and maybe Matt Price, I know he was supposedly dead in Future State but you never know with comic fake outs.

Both Dane and Matt Price show up as spirits of dead Titans. But Matt Price is actually also War of the Four Riders of the Apocalypse as well. From what we know, that Red X was apart of the group of kids who modified Miguel's H-Dial, that leaves only Brick Pettirosso as the candidate. Plus, Red X has reddish-brown hair, and even red hair in one panel. And in Infinite Frontier #0 his hairstyle looks exactly like Brick's.

How anticlimactic.
