Nope. He signed a new deal a little while ago.
Then I'm confused by the previous posts. How was he facing Karl Anderson, or did I read that in the wrong context?

I think that's an old card.

AEW double or nothing pre-show airing now.

Hangman Page wins the #1 contender battle royale. Seriously, why are they trying to make him a top guy?

It shouldn't be THAT shocking, given who is basically running AEW.
THat said, he does have talent.

Can't go wrong with some Orange around.

I have a lot of love for Page but he isn't the guy I would built a company around. He would make a good inaugural champ for a midcard belt but the world title? That's a tough pill to swallow.

I don't think he'll win, but it'll be competitive at least.

His match with PAC was suppose to be for the title with Hangman going over. With him winning the battle Royale I have to assume giving him the belt is still the plan.

Jericho beat Omega and will face Hangman. Jon Moxley made his debut and attacked Kenny.

Awesome Kong in the Women's Title match sounds awesome.
Jericho should win the title now. Page is someone that you build up as a future champion, it's too soon the have him win the top prize, make a story out of it.
Kenny can be built up after losing, we've seen it in the past. Moxley should win this I think. Speaking of which, he already feels like a different character than he did in WWE, and I liked him in WWE.
The Joshi match was really good as well, hopefully AEW can get those non-contracted women to make some appearances in the future.
MJF has "future star" written all over him.
