It was originally 12. We found out when #3 came out that it was now only 6. Cancelled for low sales.

Well crap. Thanks :)

^^^Where’d you get that awesome pic?
OT, is this odd for a limited series? I can’t recall the last time that happened.
Yeah, limited series aren't usually cancelled mid-run, but this one was. Looking at the solicit, which does mention it being the last issue, issue 6's content was changed as a result.

I drew it! :)
And also, there was "Green Lantern: Lost Army" not too long ago that was cancelled halfway through (2 of 4 I think) then kindof turned into "GL:Edge of Oblivion" that jettisoned most of Lost Army but pretended to follow the same story (kinda) - that's a weird example.

It is unusual. The last one I recall from DC was the post-Convergence maxi Telos got cut from 12 to 6 issues.
Wow, thanks guys, for the info and examples.
I don’t follow sales on books, but how bad must they be for that to happen? Yeesh!

That is awesome. Great work...:)

Vixen's mini by G Willow Wilson had it done to it.
A case could be made for Doomed since it was implied those DC You books were suppose to be 12 issues.
Prez was a victim of it.
^^^I guess it happens more often than I realized.
Kinda sucks for the ppl that actually like these books!

Yes. And I'm still mad about that.

I know how you feel... T.T
Shout out to another series pulled out of the shelves out of the blue, Vigilante: Southland, which saw only three of its planned six issues reach the comic stores. Though on the other hand, the collected edition that came out one year later collected both the three published issues and the three unpublished ones, giving an ending to the mini-series.

They should have used the Inferior or Superior 5. I know the Superior 5 are villains but Marvel has used D listers (SFOS) in an ongoing and it was quite successful. Or take the original Inferior Five and turn it into a serious mini series. Now that I would buy.
Well, I will enjoy what I can get, but I will still wish it were more.
