Here we are.

Was a little wrong about the reasoning.
damn you, dan slott.
we just came off a major event where the xmen, the FF and friggin doom were fighting over where franklin should be and then dan renders that whole thing completely pointless. hell, charles mind-wammied reed because the invention he created could potentially wipe out mutant and he only created that to protect franklin.
even more stupid, even if he wasn't a mutant, charles would still try to help him out.
and EVEN more stupid, how in the blue hell does no one figure out that he's not really a mutant? he had 3 of the smartest people on earth working to solve why his powers were fading and no one noticed that the most powerful mutant in the world.......wasn't a mutant.
i can imagine how hickman feels, considering all the work he's put into this.

You dreamed of being different, special, so you used your COSMIC POWERS...
Did they have to enter a medically induced coma before they were able to pen that explanation in order to prevent their brain from cutting itself free and walking away?
Also, is there something about Krakoa that prevents non-mutants from entering, or did Xavier just forget that his mission statement is to build healthy relations between mutants and non-mutants?

there isn't. if i recall, he let valeria stay there while they were trying to figure out why his powers were wonky, because val is uber smart and franklin wasn't gonna go without her.
i mean, he was kinder to his brother when he asked if he could go to krakoa.
another stupid point: franklin was ID'd as a mutant when he was a toddler. you mean to tell me that as a baby, franklin not only knew of what mutants were but also aware of his powers enough to change himself to be a mutant?

There's a simple explanation for this.
Flash f-ed the timeline again. ;)

“How do I suffer aneurysms because of thee? Let me count the dumb.”

I wonder what Rachel Summers/Grey thinks about all of this, considering that Franklin apparently marries her in a different timeline.

i don't think even barry could fuck up the time line THIS bad. and we all know how barry's relationship with the timeline.

That’s a good counter-argument to our outrage.
Anything that makes Hyperstorm less likely of a thing can’t be 100% bad.
Even worse. The kid from the most famous mutually-nurturing, super-powered family in comics wanted to belong to something so he ‘imagined’ himself into being a mutant.
Utter, unadulterated garbage.
Do I get around the creator-bashing rule if instead of criticising Slott himself, I criticise his stories? Because his stories are as dumb as seal poop.
And this is precisely why people were so happy when Nick Spencer took over Spiderman.
-
Current Thor is allfather Thor, complete with Odin-force and just fresh off having iced Galactus. This does not bode well for the mutants unless Jean or somebody are mainlining Phoenix juice.
I think the Avengers are gonna be mainlining the phoenix force in a couple weeks. Though I dunno if that'll happen before or after the Symbiote god shows up.
I think you can criticize the idea, sure. But best to be careful, just in case.
So I assume we're not allowed to talk about that documentary that got put out on Disney+. The one that was focusing on the pipeline for the creation of a comic book issue, which used Dan Slott's "Iron Man 2020 #1" as it's focus?

Oh hey, Dan Slott.
The guy who for whatever reason inserted a young/underage girl into a Silver Surfer story... for reasons as of yet unknown.

...Please tell me it isn't what you may be insinuating.

Eh? I just didn't/still don't understand why he needed to add a young girl to a Silver Surfer story. It didn't add much, if anything, to the storyline, and was also just... odd.

Oh. Thank God. I thought you were indicating that they were trying to sell us on a female Silver Surfer story, which would be stupid since there is no way Norrin would give up his powers to someone else and allow an innocent to suffer through the occupation of being an harbinger of death.

I think he wanted to do a Doctor Who style story with Silver Surfer standing in for the Doctor, so a companion was needed.
