I would enjoy movies like Assassins Creed which are set in the world of the game without having to risk messing up established characters. So a movie set in the Fallout franchise or in the Horizon: Zero Dawn universe, but something a little different.
...of course I am cautiously optimistic about the Metal Gear Solid movie. Please be good, please be good...
Devil may cry in the style of Wanted or The Del Toro Hellboy films. The stand-alone case of the week structure would help set each movie apart. The stories are pretty fun and decently written so you don't have to change alot to get them to work.

moviebob did a cool pitch for a super mario bros movie that i think could work.
Dark Souls
Final Fantasy
Soul Calibur
Valkyria Chronicles
Ico
Shadow of the Colossus
The Last Guardian
Darksiders
Assassins creed(based on Etzio)
Army of Two
Yeah a Samus Aran movie would be cool.
Overwatch would probably make a good movie too.
Kingdom Hearts could be a good animated series.
Jak and Daxter needs a movie or series. Tonewise it should be more like Voltron Legendary Defender or Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Deus Ex would be kind of cool.
I think Borderlands could be sort of fun too, or do Fallout if you didn't want to make it silly.
Also, maybe combine aspects of Bloodborne and Nightmare Creatures.

Enjoyed the gameplay of the most recent game but the story was convoluted and ridiculous. The cut scenes were so long and just went on and on with nonsense I couldn't even follow half the time. I skipped any cutscene that wasnt lead by one the Disney characters. Maybe if I knew th story from previous games it would be easier to follow but honestly I find the whole concept a waste of the gameplay and sandbox they have.

I agree but I think you could fix some of it through a better presentation, the benefit of hinsight, etc. Granted you might need a hammer and chisel to fix this marble.
Tales from the Borderlands and the Wolf among us would be great .
Not sure Ninja Gaiden could work as a movie as the core plot/characters are pretty meh to me. Ironically you could also bring in DOA but they might feel like a sidestory compared to his normal missions.
terranigma as a animated series
Kind of curious how a Red Dead Redemption movie would turn out. Sam Elliot would probably make a pretty good Langdon Ricketts (although his voice is much deeper than the video game character's voice).
God of War
Sleeping Dogs
The Dig
Kula World
A good animated Mario or Zelda.
R-Rated Dragon Age or Mass Effect, preferably set away from previous storylines.
An animated Crash or Sypro.
A live-action Remember Me or Alan Wake.
