Dwayne Johnson gives first look at Black Adam.

The whole thing is pretty cool, but the action starts about the 2:47 mark. Before, you get the cast of the JSA saying a few things and their respective character's logos.
Black Adam on July 29th, 2022, Shazam: Fury of the Gods the following year on June 2nd, 2023.

Looks interesting. He comes off somewhat villainous here.

This should be really fun, I love Brosnon as Fate.

comes off villainous or is he straight up a villain?

Hard to say, we don't know a whole lot of what the film will be...it seems like a team up movie so probably more anti-hero than villain.

Adam vaporizing a dude is pretty on-brand for him.
I can't wait to see the rest of the JSA in-costume.

Depends on the day and your POV.

The Rock has called Black Adam an anti-hero multiple times. That guy he killed was a bad guy I'm betting. Adrianna was probably forced to lead these mercenaries to his tomb. He woke up and killed them. We know she doesn't die. I'm betting Doctor Fate helps her remember who she was in a past life(Adam's Isis) in the scene we get a glimpse of. They could go the whole amulet way but I think with Hawkman in this they will just do reincarnation.

What degree, though? The harmless 80s Anti-hero, or one who will push the envelope?
Hopefully the second, but we'll see.

Looks awesome. Shazam 2 does, too

While the guys he killed may be "bad", Adam apparently had no way of knowing that but killed then anyways.

Black Adam has a pretty black and white and savage view of morality and crime and punishment, so that's on-brand for him.

Don't most anti-heroes? IMO they always have fairly limited thinking

It depends which ones we're talking about. With Adam it's partially because of the era he's from.
