So Captain Cold still uses his gun, Human Torch can easily turn around and melt his gun. I know the Captain can tangle with the Flash, but there is no way he should be able to dance around one of the most powerful superheroes ever conceived.
Between freeze-face and Firestorm I don't know who would win.
That may indeed be the case, but Nik’s comment isn’t a slight against Snart. Ice-god Bobby is just insane.
I didn’t think it was, but for this to be interesting in anyway there has to be at least 1 scenario in which Cold can take him.

There are literally no scenarios at all where Snart can take out Bobby. Bobby once, long before Ice God days, was used by Loki to make Asgard and the realms extra cold so that the Frost Giants could rise to supremacy. Bobby, once he managed to get some free will, simply pumped out so much power that he froze the Frost giants, and those are creatures who quite explicitly like absolute zero. No, that makes no sense, but yeah, it's true.
Bobby does things like absorb cold to protect fragile warm bloods. Cold's gun is basically a charger to the guy.
How does one even 'absorb cold'? Man, I hate comic book writers sometimes....

Yeah, you have to turn off like 60% of your brain to make them work.

In the same sense that one projects cold.
‘Tis silliness.
But then, y’know, acids burn, don’t they?
Science in the entertainment industry, not just comics, is 112% made up.

This is just fanboying and gatekeeping, as far as I can tell.

That statistic is inaccurate.
It's threedy forty-leven.

I mean, I don't believe it is.
I'm also a touch confused by the accusation of gatekeeping. Gatekeeping what exactly?
If you can think of a scenario wherein Cold could defeat Iceman, you're welcome to put it forward.
This is just fanboying and gatekeeping, as far as I can tell.
Well explain to us then how he could defeat him.
Also, I actually really like Snart as a character (especially under Geoff Johns. Say what you will about his silver age nostalgia hero problems, guy does amazing villain work) and find Bobby to be a bit of a goober. Bobby still totally outmatches the guy.
