I like that costume too, looks like a practical but stylish reworking of her other designs.
Agreed. I wish she had gold boots, at the least, and I'd prefer the bottom half of the costume still be green... but yeah.

She even randomly manifests her own pink Phoenix Raptor!

Thanks for sharing these. I remember hunting down this issue years ago. I had to have it. I have all of the X-factor run with the 05 and most of their other appearances.
Now I need to get Incredible Hulk 336 and 337 where Jean, Iceman, and Cyclops guest starred. Come to think of it I may need to review my collection in case I already have them. It is hard to keep up sometimes and I will occasionally purchase something I already own.

There are some Jean stories, like this one, that I had no idea that existed

I own this comic book, as I am strongly supportive of the "Jean is Phoenix without the force" theory.

I DON'T own this comic and I am strongly supportive of the "Jean is Phoenix without the force" fact. Lolol

Jean is definitely Phoenix without the force.
(Well, my personal theory is that Jean created the force. :))

if one day the comic books run out. I'd like this theory to be confirmed

In my theory, where the Phoenix was created by Jean, this is also what happened when Jean Grey died on the moon. The Phoenix lived on as a force.

(And then the Phoenix force time travelled a bit in order for the retcon to work, what with everything that happened in Excalibur, but still ... :))

Butterflykyss posted this on the Storm thread, it’s a fascinating watch, he doesn’t mention Jean but he does mention that he’s aiming for the iconic version of each character. And she isn’t in a mini and washing up gloves!

Thanks. I don't really like the way Byrne draws Jean now.

Jean makes quick cameos in X-men and X-Factor today but nothing worth getting excited over
