Latest episode, Mirror People, was a massive step up in quality, by far the best episode. I like the first episode, then the next two dragged for me, but this one was fucking phenomenal.

While what I mentioned earlier in this thread means that I am going to have to steer clear of discussing the details, I've got to agree. The way that they laid this episode out was pretty effective.
One thing I can say...
Next week's episode will probably worth making sure you see it.
This show continues to get better with every episode.
And the ratings are going up, which is a good thing.
This last episode went from Iron Maiden Risky Business to a psycho Breakfast Club. Awesome.

It was even period correct Maiden.

All of the music has been carefully period accurate... which, as someone who was a teenager in the 80's, I appreciate.
The music is a definite plus in this show.
Extra credit again for throwing in a period correct tune by The Cult.
Even for an acid trip episode (which usually bores me) this was prettyy cool. And then they went out with a giant bang.
Glad I stuck with this show.
Pretty impressed that they would do something this big this early on. Definitely got a good pace going.
For a while it seemed like this whole episode would be an excuse to have an extended acid trip sequence and show off their SFX... which were quite good. Best TV acid trip I've ever seen, in fact. But then the episode brings several different character turning points.
So was Master Lin really there in Vegas or was Marcus hallucinating him? Seems like the latter because he disappeared, but maybe he bribed the casino cop to let Marcus go and then left him to fend for himself?
And more importantly, was that really Hunter Thompson or was he a hallucination?
Can't say enough good things about this show at the moment. The last episode was great. Also one of the most visually fun acid trip scenes put to TV or film, not an easy thing to do.
Worth pointing out...
Episode seven is apparently titled "Rise Above".
Its free on youtube. Search the SyFy youtube page.
Honestly I keep falling asleep on it but I need to give it another chance
Everything about this show -should- be terrible. The ideas sounds like a bad fanfic. The aimless nature of the show should make it a bad show...but somehow it just all works.
It should be cringeworthy, but the acting makes everything great.
Not crazy about this last episode. Too many chop-socky cliches, too many people being pointlessly annoying.
Need to get back to the Remender-written episodes.
Still have no idea how many episodes this season is going to be. 10? 13? 22?
This show's really good at making me hate it's villains. I threw my hands up in the air when a certain character finally bit the big one and I can't help but hope that the next time Brandy meets a ninja the same will happen to her. At least Viktor's funny.
