Oney asking for his release puzzles me. He's wasn't being misused and honestly being a good hand was the best role for him. I doubt he gets his release.
Yeah, I agree I don't think he was really being used all that badly. He didn't win a ton of matches, but they definately gave him opportunity to showcase his talents.
My guess would be he got frustrated for not being called up to the main roster after all this time and wants to be a bigger star than he is now. Because while I do beleive WWE will continue to use him, he's likely going to be more a Cesaro than a Roman Reigns or a Seth Rollins. A good worker who will get his abilities showcased, but won't necessarily get pushed to the moon.
It's like Jericho said, Shawn Spears ruined it for everyone. He was exactly as you described and he been doing well for himself in AEW. I bet Juice Robinson success in New Japan must sting too.
I don't think it stings. I think the WWE always thinks that they can bring you back.
Also the WWE really has a bad habit of resigning guys and using them the same way they afterwards.,
That's kind of why I say let people go.
You lose Oney Lorcan, you pick up Tom Lawler
You lose Mike Bennett, you pick up Marty the Moth.
You lose ACH, you pick up Virgil:)

TBH he should have been requesting his release they day they named him 'Oncey'.

That's his own fault. The talent come up with their own names.

It shocks me ECIII hasn't requested his release given how he's been used.

fixed it for ya.

Supposedly Kairi Sane is also looking at "other options" for when her deal is up. That in no way guarantees that she'll leave of course, but it's worth nothing nonetheless.

If she is looking elsewhere she knows that AEW books Joshi well. Many of her peers are their as well.

Also the new owners of STARDOM have expressed interest in bringing her and Io back as well. And Kenny Omega said, that if he could only pick one woman to bring over from WWE, he'd pick Kairi. Also Riho is basically Kairi if she were booked properly.

Heyman has a known mental order where he lies every time he opens his mouth.

It's official: The January 15th Episode of AEW will be Bash at the Beach.

I am surprised that you say that. The AEW women division is the only part of AEW that I hear almost universal criticism about.

Except for Riho, she's been pushed well and gotten really over.
