The original series?

They do -- or did, at some point, I think.
I looked up the series on amazon. Is the original series just three "books"?

and Zaheer is Mad Stan

Yes. Each book is a season.
Avatar is on Canadian Netflix.
Hmm I think I am liking this season more so far. It has been good so far and these new antagonist are way better then what we got before. I mean season 1 could have been better but they shied away from any real political analysis.
so far so good.
Other than Varrick's material the comedy is working better this season. Being paired with just Asami instead of with Mako and Bolin does wonders for Korra's likability, and helps the boys as well. I think the kid is meant to make Korra seem better by comparison.
So far I count 3 plots. The search for the new airbenders, the earth queen's coming aggression against Rebublic territory with her airbending army, and the 4 bending criminals, which by nature of each being a different kind of bender do seem to be the anti-Gaang.

One more thing to blame canada for....

If anything they ought to have annotated episodes up on nick. That was quite a while ago anyway.
I'm loving the Korra and Asami ass-kicking friendship this season. Oh and these new villains are really cool.
