Figured since there's been ones for the other major DC characters I'd make one for here, so who do you think is the best Wonder Woman writer?
Rucka, followed by Perez/Jimenez as follow ups for me.

Pretty much ditto. Rucka first, then Perez, with Jimenez close behind. Orlando is probably next in my list, he just hasn't had enough freedom from restraint to truly show it. But that Mayfly prison issue sure is a great mission statement for his Diana to me.
Yeah I'm going with Rucka, though it's very close between him and Jimenez. After them, I'd probably put Perez and Marston as equally good for their respective eras and their ideas for the character. Joy Murchison also deserves major props as she ghost wrote some of the best GA issues, including Villainy Inc and the Queen Atomia issue.
Gail is the only person who, I think, understood Diana and showed her depth, power, and humor while still making her relatable.

I read through Simone's run rather recently, I enjoyed a good part of it but felt a lot of her run was held down by inheriting the post-Infinite Crisis/Amazons Attack mess.
George Perez.
Yeah I’m old school, but he laid out the blueprint on how to do WW right when he brought her into the Post Crisis DC universe.
Greg Rucka, IMO.

It was mostly a coin toss between Perez and Rucka for me, give him slightly an edge as his two runs push him over to the top where if it was only one I’d probably have voted for Perez.
Phil Jimenez is my #1 pick followed by John Byrne, Steve Orlando, Greg Rucka, and George Perez.

Good deal, and that’s fair.
I know I mentioned in a different thread I’d love to see Perez come back for another run as a writer, teamed w. a fitting artist. It’d be interesting to see what he’d come up with given what’s been done w. the character since his run so long ago.

He or Jimenez might have made a decent Denny O’Neil-style editor. :p
Does the poll set-up limit you to only 15 options? I know there’s “Other”, but where’s the love by name check for the Bronze Age writers? LOL

15 max limit, though yes I wish spread the name options out rather geared more towards modern writers.
Marston, followed by Morrison.
I'd rank them as such:
