Imagine that scene if Jean was in the party dress. She'd look ridiculous talking to Sage like that.
I simply doesn't understand why she is using a dress. It looks ridiculous on the cover, it's a black ops team, imagine showing up with a dress. This rubs me really wrong
Honestly the most important panel in Morrison's run. Or maybe in X-Men history?
*insert "The Most Important Scene in the History of the X-Men" promo*
You’re not the only one I’ve read say that....what’s the reason why? Or is it like a running gag or something?

The practicality of superhero costumes is something we shouldn't really make a big deal about. Jean is in a dress okay. Wolverine and Colossus are bulletproof. Everyone else is not and nobody has on a kevlar flak jacket or helmet. Dress in leather isn't going to stop a bullet. But you know what will stop a bullet a forcefield. So Jean can dress in anything she wants and not get by bullet everyone including beast in his biker shorts can get hit. The point is nobody is wearing anything practical for an actual black ops team. What they are wearing tho is "cool looking comic gear" you want Jean in cool looking comic gear.

Isn't she's an omega-level mutant? I'm sure her telekinesis can handle bullets. If anybody needs to worry about armor, it's Black Tom Cassidy or Sage.
Anyway. I'm liking the line-up and premise of this book... Even if it feels more like an X.S.E. book than a X-Force book.

Truthfully I don't like Black Tom on the team, from what I have heard he shouldn't care so either replace colossus with juggernaut or get rid of Black Tom, that being said maybe there is a reason. I don't like Quire he is one of the main reason I didn't get the new West Coast Avengers and don't intend to either. I really do not like him and don't think he deserves what he gets I would replace him with Raven which would make things complicated.
-
Ahhh, another villain becoming an X-Men. So we got now Vulcan, Apocalypse and Black Tom becoming good guys?
I love most of the team except for the villain and Beast. I am tired of Beast.

The best X-couple introduced in many years IMO. I’m rooting for them.

Well, Percy said it’s tweaking the concept of X-Force a bit, though Cable kind of already did that in Spurrier’s run. Making it more of a mutant intelligence division that also does special (black) ops, but not entirely the latter. I think it’s a cool take personally.

Well, Jean is on the intel side. Having said that, I agree re: the dress. But Hickman said something about “mutants wearing mutant clothes” so I’m wondering if maybe she’ll vacillate between different costumes she’s worn over the years. One day in the old Marvel Girl look, another in the Phoenix suit, and yet another in her 90s suit. Something like that.
-
As of yet they're just on the same team, so not automatically back together...
-
They had me at Sage. Now, I really hope they can keep me.

Bishop/jean is a honest contender

They said that, but they kept Jean on the same costume as HOXPOX. Would be nice have different costumes, but for some reason she still wearing marvel girl costume. I starting to think this is personal

Jean in cool comic gear is my dream for now.

Lol at someone saying that about Bishop/Jean.

Maybe cool matching X-Forcey uniforms! Or just throw her in her 90s outfit. It seemed fairly tactical. Even had pouches.
