Well, we can safely assume that indeed Trump is not going to be a good sport and just say GG to Biden, that's for damn sure.
Oh yeah, this is going to court and recounts. Fun times ahead.
At this point, I'm resigned to the fact that Trump is going to win, it's only a matter of time while ballots are being counted. What I want to know from those who are Trump supporters is this:
--What do you hope to get from a second Trump term? What does he do for you exactly?
--The virus is still out there, regardless of right wing propaganda to the opposite and is still killing people, and there's no plan in place from Trump to fight it. Do you feel comforted by that?
--The economy, which Trump was hedging his reelection bid on was wrecked thanks to his hamfisted response to the virus, and things haven't improved all that much. Are you confident he can fully turn it around?
--Trump was hellbent on filling RBG's seat on SCOTUS rather than churning out a COVID relief package. How does having Amy Coney Bennett on the bench instead of a check in your hand help you directly?
--The nation is horribly divided, perhaps worse than ever. Does it matter to you that Trump clearly doesn't care about bringing the country together?
If anyone can provide serious answers to those questions, I'd be appreciative, because I can't fathom how a second term of Trump helps anyone except for Trump.
All that matters to them is owning the libs. Even at the cost of the overall well-being of the nation, that's the important thing at the end of the day.

At this point I don't care anymore if the Senate isn't going to the Dems. I'll be happy with just the WH and the House. 2022 Midterms has 23 Republican senators on the ballot, so maybe that will be the moment who knows.
The election is disappointing because it wasn't the crushing victory and reckoning everyone hoped for and wanted (the silver lining so far is that it won't be the crushing defeat the other way so there's that). It really shouldn't have been this close (and yeah I know many pollsites warned as such and so on, but still).

I woke up this morning at 5am. Not that I wanted to. But because my aunt was running around the house ranting and raving about Biden. he is stealing the election. All those vote for Trump that have just been thrown out and now one doing anything about it. All the mail in voting fraud. How could any political party be happy when they cheated a great man to win? The country is doomed. Socialist nightmare coming and Biden is going to do what Pelosi and Sanders tell him. ETC...
I am in for a very fun day.

I pray that there are enough uncounted ballots still being counted that favor Biden to give him the votes he needs to win. I don't think this country can handle four more years of Trump's insanity.
-
Thought I was stressed last night, had some nice stuff to take the edge off but was still anxious. Now I discover how good a job it did because I'm a jittery ball of nerves now.
Wake up to Trump prematurely declaring victory (but thankfully panned by all serious entities), several states too close to call, and the assurance that Trump will take this to court (he hasn't even lost yet!). All I can say is thank goodness that I stocked up, and thank god it's legal in Michigan.

Her biggest thing is of course how The USA is going to be controlled by Putin because as Hunters emails show is in in Russia pocket. But her hope is Biden will get impeached when all the child porn on Hunters laptop comes to light.
It is funny. One second Biden is the puppet of Pelosi and Sanders. The next he is the puppet of Putin. she is out of her mind this morning.

This year, Winter is going to be long and cold. And I'm not talking about the weather.

Looking at the map now, if Michigan could flip and Biden holds onto his leads in Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada, then wins the election.
With or without Pennsylvania, Biden can still win this. If he does win, he's going work with a very hostile Senate.

Remind her that if Biden is impeached, Kamala will be president. And if Kamala goes down with him, Pelosi will become President. I bet she'd love that.
Don't actually tell her that, it would just be trouble, but it makes me happy to think about :D

For 2 years until the Midterms at least, that means Biden can work with executive orders, Presidential powers, make the cabinet appointments via Attorney Generals and so on, and at least work to get the COVID under control. That won't be insufficient. He will have the House.
Of course stuff like removing the filibuster and packing the courts...that can has been kicked down the road.
Assuming of course he pulls through.
-
Biden's closed the gap on Trump in Michigan to just around 26,000 votes.
That's a huge swing from what we saw this morning.

Yahoo's electoral map has Biden currently ahead but ending in a trump win.

Yeah, but my heart really broke earlier seeing Perdue and Collins make it back.
I wanted to see a total and complete rejection of Trumpism.
