In a world full of anti-mutant tech from bombs, to guns to collars to fields, it really is puzzling why they are making such a big issue out of getting his armor from the Right. Even odder bc when DOX started it seemed as if enemies having anti-power tech was a recurring thing being used across multiple books

There has to be a cottage industry on the island for tech and clothes for people who's powers are stuff like 'kill everything around me' or 'spews acid uncontrollably all the time'

Forge lost his power removing gun. o7
Convolution is something you just have to deal with in X-Men.

I'm hoping they're making such a big deal, because as the story unfolds we'll learn more about exactly why Peter is so dangerous. What's more likely to happen is this is just an excuse for another story and location, however when the actual reasoning for why his X-gene is so dangerous is revealed. We're all going to ask why/how Forge or Beast, or even Xavier weren't able to come up with a more suitable replacement.

So is Peter's gene suppressed by nanny or the suit? Or is it both?
So is Peter's gene suppressed by nanny or the suit? Or is it both?
Well, the book implies the suit since Nanny isn't a powerful mutant.

The real question here is why can they reconstruct the prison armor for Nanny but not Orphan Maker?
You are right, it doesn't make sense to have an egg-shaped armor suit for herself but not for Peter because both suits were made from the Right cyborg technology.

Nanny's suit doesnt have anti-mutant tech in it to supress her powers; Peter's did. There is something special about the Right's tech that we dont know about yet and thats why they cant just make one for him
I would like to see Nanny interact with Hordeculture.

The X-Men have had as much or more access to various Right anti-mutant technology than Nanny's suit. They can rebuild everything but this? It is fair to question if there might be more to it than it seems.
Maybe the enemy has got the RIGHT (pun intended) technology to neutralise Peter's power. ;)
All this talk about Nanny makes me happy.
So I guess the suit is how they'll justify Nanny keeping control over Orphan Maker
