Looks like Disney did ScarJo dirty on this one.
Seems really weird they didn't redo the contract?
There was an obvious middle ground to come to here due to the pandemic. And they didn't even call her back?
Yikes

Here's hoping she wins and other creatives join with their own lawsuits.
Yeah, obviously no one should be forced into doing anything...although I guess there's always body doubles.
That could work too. As long as it's not one of those awkward Whedon gags.

Oh this is about to get ugly.

Ooh, they pulled the COVID card

<--- My current icon says it all.

Oh boy. Just feeling bad for all sides here. Love Disney stuff. Also like it hen someone is fairly compensated. Will avoid as much of this as possible.

I guess since she's pretty much done they don't feel the need to negotiate.

I don't see how one can feel bad for Disney here. Not only did they screw over their star but then they pandemic-shame (does this term exist? If not Disney just invented it) her in an attempt to turn the public opinion against her. Not to speak of the unheard of disclosure of her salary to score cheap points from the jealousy crowd.
Oh, and Scarlett should get an Oscar nom for her performance in the interviews promoting the movie. Impressive how she pulled them off as if nothing happened despite this going on.

I think this would have been Scarlett's final performance anyway. But this just sealed the deal.
Yeah, but can you really separate one movie series from everything? Plus, the male characters were always still at the forefront, whereas the female ones were treated like side characters
That's true, and I don't really think it's necessary. But the male characters are show as muscular and fit. None of the female characters are sexualized for that.
Exactly
I'm sure Scarlett and Florence knew there were going to be some ass shots in the movie. If they had a problem with it, those shots wouldn't have been in the movie
-
Oooof, figured disney would just be quiet and settle out of court. Not shoot back. Yikes lol. scarlett has worked under disney for more than just Marvel.
They could have easily renegotiated and split the difference here. This is weird.

She isn't stupid. I don't know why the internet has to be like this about this subject. She had TONS of control over this movie, she knew what was in it.

How much control do those 2 have over such things?
