From what little I've gleamed from Ultron, they might make for a strong combo. Its Ultron's own neurosis that may cause everything to go up in smoke.
Impossible question to begin to understand how to answer
A lot of things in MCU can be seen as redundant duplications of ideas or themes already present among X-Men Lore though
What about adding Ultimaton in to this mix

What about Bastions "saving humanity" from mutants gig?

Huh. Need to read up on Bastion. But I think Ultron would be the superior robot so he would do some rewriting on Bastion.

Very interesting! I never thought of this combo. Things will definitely look bad for humanity!
Ultron and Bastion could make an extremely formidable combo, especially as both have had access to the Technarchs' techno-organic virus and used it as part of their plots, not to mention they can both convert organic beings into entities similar to themselves through nanotech-based viral infection. The only problem with that alliance would be that Ultron wants to eliminate all organic life, while Bastion just wants to annihilate mutants, so I could see them coming to blows over that. As long as they were willing and able to work together, they would be a nightmare for the X-Men and Avengers (and other superheroes) to deal with.
Ultron: Lets build a robot only earth, with me as your leader
Bastion: But I just want to kill all mutants.
Ultron: OK, first we kill mutants, then the humans.
Bastion: Sounds good to me.

That's why I said how they'll "interact"

My only knowledge of Ultron was from the movies. I was unimpressed with the villain
My main knowledge of Bastion was in second coming, I was very impressed with the villain.
Teaming up would be overkill. I prefer to leave Bastion on his own. his hatred for mutants should not be diluted with Ultron who was to take over the world because that is what every generic villain has in common.
It would a cool combo, but in the end, it would fall through. Their goals are simply not compatible and betrayal, especially from Bastion, would be sure to happen. It would be cool though, if written well.

That what interests me.Maybe they go along for the road. But in the end their end goals are different. It will be a very interesting run where these two are main characters & the heroes are supporting casts.
