Or they simply aren't that progressive, every demographic has their conservatives and bigots - it's not exclusive to white people. It's not like they can't do both at the voting booth.
There's some truth to this, but people get defensive when you point it out. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Pragmatism and conservatism. They're not mutually exclusive, but I don't think they're always the same type of voters though. There's also age/class that plays a role too.

Did Lou Holtz get the Medal of Freedom for coaching football or supporting Trump?

I listened to one minute of it. Same completely unsubstantiated, made up claims, same lies, same whiny baby who can't deal with losing, a rerun of why he is the worst president in American history. And that was just the first minute.
Point being they go where they think white voters will go. If there's a white moderate Dem who's weak on LGBTQ rights, but popular with moderate dem voters that's where their vote is going.
The fuck does that have to do with an Amendment in North Carolina banning gay marriage that black voters supported in large numbers? There was no candidate who was weak on rights. It was a simple yes or no should gay marriage be banned.
Or they simply aren't that progressive
It's this. While, black, asian, whatever, being gay is still a big fucking deal. Especially in the south. It just is. People can be liberal while not being progressive. We have them here in this very thread!
But this was my point. Progress has many enemies, in many forms.

That is because Roger Stone is a corrupt far right fruit loop who hangs out with Alex Jones, who Trump opted to go onto his show to drum up support for his presidency.
The disturbing thing about all these far fetched conspiracy theories is that Trump's inner circle of friends actually seems to genuinely believe them, as opposed to just promoting it for political gain.
It gives you some insight into Trump's brain, but thankfully Trump is now yesterday's news, and like a roll of used toilet paper, soon to be flushed and forgotten....I hope that didn't sound too harsh, apologies if it did.

I’m sure Stone has evidence that can stand up in court.

I'd say at least he chose someone sophisticated enough to pull it off, but North Korea...
The fuck does that have to do with an Amendment in North Carolina banning gay marriage that black voters supported in large numbers? There was no candidate who was weak on rights.
Calm down man, she was just pointing out why Southern blacks vote the way they do. I personally was unaware of the NC thing. But I'm not terribly surprised about it. A poster on here (DarlingNikki, I miss her btw) years ago said that she suspected a lot of black voters in Georgia voted for Bush's second term because of gay marriage. At the time LGBTQ+ community was pushing hard for gay marriage during the 04 election. They all were told to be patient too back then. People forget how wild the 04 and 08 political climate was.

I’m calm. I can say fuck and be calm. I do it all the time.
This is the example I opened with. It was my whole point. So don’t start talking about something else and ignoring the example I made.

Saw this on Facebook and it gave me a chuckle:
“Why is the Trump White House suddenly a very polite place to work? Everyone’s going around saying ‘pardon me’.”
I didn't know what you meant either.
I wasn't sure what he was talking about. He wasn't specific, I don't remember the NC gay marriage thing. But then again you git Clyburn there, he and his constituents are pretty moderate, and probably would be republican if the party wasn't so racist.
