John Doe setting

Hi folks I'm a Hellboy fan and of that world setting, well as an Asperger person. one of the Hellboy stories which inspired this idea was Buster Oakley and X-Files of course.


My idea for a Sci-Fi setting with some horror touches is John Doe Setting, it's Aliens and Super Science instead of Supernatural and Parnormal.


John Doe is the main character he is a Grey-Human Hybrid, he is from Roswell Crash in 1947, dead unknown bodies are called if male John Doe if female Jane Doe.

His personality: John Doe Personality is that of one who still has the 1950's American optimism but by now he as realized that people in Goverment or Corperations don't have are best interests at heart. He also has Faith in Humanity. John hates lying and disinformation. He Drinks Cocktails like the culture of 1950's and early 1960's, and John like his music from l1947 to early 1960's


John Doe's Looks:

John Doe is a Human Size Grey unlike Hellboy he can't be out among the general populance of America, He stand's about 6ft and some inches unlike Hellboy he isn't husky muscle wise he has a normal to thin muscle mass. John Doe dresses in 1950's American Male Consertive clothing Dark Three Peace Suits, Fedora hat with a Shoulder holster under each arm.

John Doe Powers and Personal Firearms:

John Doe like all Greys has Mental Powers but not as strong as full blooded Grey, He can Read Minds, Talk via Mind and move stuff with his mind. His Firearms are these one Hand Cannon and One Raygun.


Yes I realize I'm making the Men in Black and there based at Area 51,

Well here the First problem, I've never wrote a Comic before and I'm not an Artist. My Grammer isn't the best or very good just look at some of posts online.


My Second problem is that the subject matter itself, Ufology is considered my mainstream Science as Pseudoscience, Hellboy Family of Comics does mention real cases Supernatural and Paranormal happings and objects. Well in Joe Doe setting will be doing this as well and how stories tend to skip around timeframes.

The best way so far since there is strong Hoax factor in Ufology and other Pseudoscience fields is treat it as Alt History which personally I'm a huge fan of,


Now onto more ideas for my setting, I want Science base Superheroes, that what Alan Moore calls Pulp age Heroes. Hellboy Family Comics only mention Two these type of Heroes Torch of Liberty and the Lobster, Superman, Captain America and Batman are Science based Heroes.

First off I would to say how sorry I am for my last post I was blowing a little hot, ok now onto my problem with my John Doe setting.

I bought some UfO books, and Project Blue Book TV Series First Season. Now what they did in that TV Series blending Fact and Fiction,

The Problem with Ufology is that there no true view it's considered officially Pseudoscience by mainstream Science, I rented Two Skeptic books on UFOs and Crytozoology. Personally I've bin snookered before so I'm going slowly this time.

I also weaving Ancient Aliens and Chariots of Gods theory as well,


Now Area 51 and it's sister base Area 52 are in Ufology as America base of Ufo study warehousing, but it's was also use for testing Aircraft Projects and Spyplanes, also that area was used for A Bomb testing as well.

1: I hope to John Doe setting done as comic series and hope to spin off like Hellboy and B.P.R.D. and other type of spin offs.

2: Well I hope to show that Fans that there should be no reason for lawyers to go after me, and to get some help as well. Vril Energy is Super Science and Enkeladite which was created by an A-Bomb Test would be reason why my Men in Black like group would be watching USA A-Bomb tests.

Vril should be fine, but I believe Enkeladite is a Mignolaverse invention. I don't know if they'd have trademarked the word, but it's probably best to steer clear anyway. If you're in any way planning to tie this into the wider Hellboy mythos and commercialise it in any way whatsoever, you would need the owner of the property's express permission.

If you're thinking more a fan fiction type thing, don't worry if you've never written before. Get a pal to check your spelling and find someone to draw it for you if you don't want to do it yourself. Alternatively try writing it as prose and see if you can generate interest. Everybody starts out not having done a thing until they do it.

Well John Doe setting is an original idea not Fan Fiction, what I'm worried is about the Buster Oakly character I like have a Minotaur character in the Men in Black like Organisation. Since both were created by Aliens,

You see in this setting the Men in Black like Organisation like B.P.R.D. has normal Human Agents and Special Agents led by John Doe, like Helboy he had a Human that raised him his Father was a Former O.S.S. Agent and he didn't become the head of Men in Black Group.

I'm 44 years old working poor person I have to pay any good Artist to create a sample for any Comic Publisher,
