Let’s all pray T’Challa will at least be spared on the comic side of things.
No way is Feige stupid enough to kill or sideline T’Challa on the comics side. From various podcasts I’ve listened to, Feige’s involvement on the comics side has amounted to telling them he doesn’t want them copying the MCU, he wants them creating stories he can adapt for movies.

and yet my phone still ain't ringing.

Yours is the only DC comic book ive ever bought and I historically dont even like Green Lanturn.
Both issues are changing that, if Feigie is the talent scout he claims to be he'd make you a busy man on Black Panther in animation or elsewhere.

Still hoping for that day. Still rooting for you, and am enjoying Your GL and I'm not even a DC fan or even read any DC comics at all

I think those are called theme parks. And Disney has a plan to put one in the park.

Well that’s good to hear. Too bad any future T’Challa stories will most likely just be given to Shuri on screen. Meh.

I’m so ready for the Coates era to hurry up and end already. T’Challa fans have suffered enough. Lol.

I’m really hoping we get a soft reboot with this new relaunch. The more I think about it I think Ridley is going with a very different approach with T’Challa and that he’ll restore a lot of badassery and complexity that the character has been missing. All he has to do is take Aaron’s T’Challa, throw in 3-4 side characters, and revamp some villains that can pose a threat.
I don’t need a revolutionary, mythos-defining run. If Ridley or whoever can give me what Captain Marvel and Spider-Man fans are getting (basic, fun stories that respect the character and world) I’ll be more than happy. No more space fantasy shit and democratic rebellions, just straight adventure and espionage lol.

It is an unfair world that "mediocre" would be such a vast improvement lol.

I just want T’Challa to be competent again. That’s literally all I’m asking for.

Is Marvel espionage any good though?

Plenty of entertainment is mediocre but gets the job done lol. I thought the Witcher was mid but I’ll be damned if I didn’t enjoy myself every episode. I think Snowfall is so-so but best believe I’m invested in the story. If Ridley can give me Captain Marvel/Spider-Man levels of writing I will happily buy his comic and sing his praises. I have no shame about this, all he has to do is not suck lol.

Pretty much. To be 100% clear, we’re not asking for him to have 0 difficulty or for him to not face competent villains. But a T’Challa that cries about not wanting the throne, has no semblance of a poker face, and doesn’t project strong leadership traits is garbage and should be left in the past with this failed Coates run. All I need is a bare level of competence and confidence from the character and a respect for him and his world.
