LOL, don't kink shame me :p
Agreed. One of my favorite pics of Logan and Illyana ever!
And that squad is so dope.
That team, Clay Mann, and Donny C.

Is that his art? It's gorgeous. Put him in one of the popular X-title (not the secondary ones)
Mann is entering Janin's territory. The oversexualization of his artwork combined with King's writing is repugnant
You know what the common thread there is, right? A lot of this stuff is definitely scripted.

His work on Batman is ridiculously beautiful, especially the Super friends arc

Not sure what you mean...

Hey if you like "furry" porn then no one is stopping you to like Cat and Bat :p
-
I love Mann's art, it's absolutely beautiful - but I don't want him anywhere near a monthly book unless it's on covers.
Batman/Catwoman was delayed nearly a year, in part to "guarantee" he could do the whole thing. We all know how that turned out...

Exactly!
He's amazing but he is now just like the other legendary artists - where once they could stay on schedule and now they can barely do 22 pages in 3 months
(I'm looking at you Quitely, Fabok, Coipel, Immomen, and all the rest who I miss so much)

His artwork leaves me hot and bothered, but MY LORDT he is sexy in person as well!

Same. I wish he wasn't so fucking slow. So it probably would be best to see him on covers or like one off issues for main series artist to get ahead.

A lot of these artists are at a point in their careers where their page rate / cover rate is good enough that they don't have to wreck themselves to keep to a monthly schedule. The level of detail artists like this put in takes a lot of time and labor, and producing that on a monthly basis isn't sustainable in many different ways.
There's also the fact that the single greatest reason to do interiors is out of personal passion. Comics interiors do not pay very well, even for the big name artists. Especially not work for hire. Cover artist gigs are much better compensation. Art gigs outside the comics industry are even better. Comics is a passion-driven industry. A seasoned veteran of an artist isn't going to have that same wild abandon.

Yeah totally, but man do I miss this generation of artists - they just hit differently.
