Yeah, that was a solid issue.
I’m still partial to Churchill even all these years later, though I appreciate Ladronn’s art far more as an adult than I did back then when those issues came out. He’s masterful. So much detail in his work and such a unique style.
But Churchill’s Cable is just a freakin’ badass…

Cable doesn’t skip arm day.
I always loved Churchill's Cable, but his Scott is probably my favorite ideal look for the character. Plus He and Nathan look legit like Father and Son, albeit the opposite way.

He drew him in the Gaunt storyline - one of my favourite Cables.
Yeah, that was a solid issue.
Indeed. Quite solid (IMHO):

I don't remember this.

This is the issue where Cable and Rachel defeat Gaunt and return to the present. Before the Dark Sisterhood arc
It sucks how writers jobbed Cable's character by depowering him the way they did is he even still a mutant

Gotcha, thanks man.

Yeah your right, he hasn't used his powers in a long time.

You're joking right?

No, am I forgetting? It's been a while since he used telekinisis or telepathy right?

Yes, not his natural born powers since Cable & Deadpool 23-25.

I believe he used them for a bit in the future when Bishop was chasing him and Hope but it burned out again very quickly. I want to say it was on the spaceship before the Brood attacked.
The kid version used his powers a number of times, and the adult version used his TK near the end of that series (in issue #10) to bring his sword (the Light of Galador) to his hand to kill some demons…

Also, Abigail Brand makes reference to his TK in her data page when she notes that “his control of the techno-organic virus is beyond anything I’ve ever seen, outside the Phalanx themselves… That all comes down to Cable’s telekineses, which is vastly overpowered — to the point that it could burn his system out if controlling the virus didn’t keep it occupied. So the TK controls the TO and the TO controls the TK — a balance as delicate as a house of cards.”
So clearly he still has his TK, and Wiz Kid mentions his TP as well in this panel…

Which implies that Nathan still has his telepathy too, even though we haven’t seen him use it since the OG version returned.
In the SWORD #11 preview, he's sure using his powers now.
Yes indeed. At least his TK. And Wiz Kid mentioned him having his telepathy in the previous issue too.
I love how that artist draws his T-O virus underneath the metal plating on his arm as it comes off too. In the preview page.
