Okay, firstly, wiki, fan curated, doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Secondly, yes, correct; what is your point?
Seriously, you keep talking, but everything you say is so obliviously out of touch with the nature of the story; this is not a super hero team book!
This is about the New Mutants trying to take responsibility for a group of younger Mutants, and that group of younger Mutants, and the personal issues that they are dealing with.

Also, the cast listing goes by who's important to the individual ISSUE, not by "This is the main team."
I can't find the New Mutants appreciation thread so I apologize for posting it here.
New Mutants #21 cover and story looks cool. Are we seeing the comeback of Tier in the background? It would be a great story.

Isn't Tier half Asgardian? That could be in part why his download is being "problematic".
Isn't Tier half Asgardian? That could be in part why his download is being "problematic".
Shouldn't the only deciding factor be what ever someone has an X-gene or not? That's after all the thing Cerebro is tuned towards registering and contacting.
The rest is up to Xavier or any other powerfull telepath using it being able to access a person's memories and download those "datafiles" into Cerebro's storage. Meaning what would make a download problematic would be things like mental defences, cerebral structure, etc.
So do Asgardians have a history of being highly resistant by nature against telepaths, or at least them being able to breach into their memories? If yes, then the Asgardian side could indeed make it problematic.
Unless it's also the whole unmentioned aspect of the current Cerebro being somehow able to pull the soul of a mutant out of what ever afterlife they are entering (Pixie's soul dagger more or less made that official) back into the clone body via the memories.
If Asgardian souls go to place that Cerebro can't pull them from, it would also explain the problem.
Though now i wonder how many mutants might be lowkey "problematic" for having minds that can't be clearly read by telepaths?
Given his father is Hrimhari he certainly took more from the wolfen sides of both parents...So more hybrid than mutant. Then consider he's not just any regular Asgardian, he's of divine Asgardian blood...Those might further complicate the process.

Yeah, that's applied to any new character the writers wanted to be 'mysterious' from Ilyanna to Rogue to Gambit to post-bodyswap Psylocke, so it's a long list (and also includes some older characters like Magneto!).
Still confused why Karma still has an artificial leg?
Still confused why Karma still has an artificial leg?
bc she wanted it. Dont think about it
I wonder if Marvel-Disney has some kind of deal with the military to depict dismembered superheroes with artificial limbs in their comics? That's about the only reason I can think of as to why she still has it. Did Hellion ever get his hands back? With characters like Elixir or Triage on the table, it's a bit ridiculous.

Disney doesnt have a deal with the military. They all still have their metal prosthetics bc artists like to draw them and for the writer, these arent artifacts that get in the way of anything they'd want to write. Fans may complain but ultimately it doesnt really matter
This is not rocket science.
Karma has an artificial limb because it makes her stand out more as a character. Same reason why Cyclops will always have a visor. You put these characters in biog group settings and their artificial limbs make them stand out.
Also, I hate the idea of making every character look the same and making them all generic. Let's fix every flaw any character has. Blah.

There's another reason why there are people who seem so determined to get rid of Karma's leg. The MCU fanboi's. They figure that it'll be eaiser to find some generic Asian actress to play the role of Karma in another shoddy New Mutants Movie remake/X-movie/TV series if they didn't have to deal with the leg and the character history it represents.
Sorta like how the New Mutants Movie Versions of Illyana,Rahne and Dani really aren't the ComicBook Versions of Illyana,Rahne and Dani.
But they were hyped as if they were the same characters as the comic book ones.
All they basically had in common was the names.
